let them fix all the bugs first, there are a lot of errors in the firmware. People advise, but in fact there are a lot of errors in the firmware, it's sad like that. Let them take the time to fix the little things.

I don't have the device to test but it seems fine, you can try and if the apps stops working, disable the feature

When an app gets updated by the Play Store, if the app has AppLock enabled, it losts it and after Play Store updates the app, I need to re-enable the AppLock for that app again, otherwise I can open the app without security code/fingerprint. Anyone is facing this issue too?

Yes, this is kinda problematic,
And the App Lock overlay is transparent and blurry but you still can see what's behind, sometimes it shows another app (or activity) for unknown reasons behind being blurred,
It would be nice to have the app locker behave more like OxygenOS(11).
The alert slider, when moved, ends the "Do Not Disturb" mode, so when I want to set the phone to vibrate, it ends my active schedule for the night. It isn't like that in OxygenOS, it would be nice to improve that.
Otherwise this ROM is great
i can't update to last version DerpFest-12-Official-Shinju-lemonade-20220416-1342.zip. Can anybody help me?

You could rename but if I'm not mistaken it should work long as your in the folder with the boot.img like cd Downloads(or path) then fastboot flash boot boot.img
Copy and paste should work also.
I'm sure you already know fastboot devices
will list your device if everything ok
I hope this could help. Also if nothing else you can copy path of folder with fastboot in it while placing file you want to flash in Fastboot folder if fastboot/adb isn't universal. There is guides and tools here on XDA if that would need to be an option. I'm sure you knew most of this but I wanted to give a complete answer just in case you or anyone else was wondering.1
