Paranoid Android is good with reasonable customization. Very stable.

any scroll lag?I went the crDroid route, only one day usage mind you but so far I am very happy with it. Can't speak about stock kernel tho, flashed arter97s immediately and have been very happy with the performance
in the switch slot i did click the slot B from my active slot A but the active slot is not change in recovery mode, so is second time flash rom will go to slot B?For anyone looking for recommendations to switch to, I ended up moving to Nameless AOSP https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...o-12-1-0_r5-nameless-aosp-2022-05-14.4403301/
It doesn't have most of the customizations options like what there is in the Derp Settings menu, which kinda sucks. But everything that was broken for me on Derp(USB data to PC, fast charging, live wallpapers soft-bricking the device, no ringing when you place a call, etc), all work fine. And while I was having TONS of rom crashes on Derp, I haven't had a single crash so far.
I didn't have to revert to stock or anything like that. I just flashed the Nameless boot.img to both slots, then booted into recovery, did a factory wipe, then flashed the rom to both slots, then booted up. After I restored my backups through Google and setup my apps and accounts, and booted back to recovery and flashed the latest Magisk to both slots, and I was good to go. Their recovery has a "switch slots" button to make it easy to change between slot A and slot B, without having to use fastboot.
After you choose switch slot, you have to reboot back to recovery for it to take effect.in the switch slot i did click the slot B from my active slot A but the active slot is not change in recovery mode, so is second time flash rom will go to slot B?
That was one of the reasons I stayed away from crDroid and went derp, there were various issues being complained about. However, I have experienced none of them. Everything is fast, snappy, smooth as butter and no stutter or lag in sight. Closest thing that came to disappointing was the battery life, as it was draining faster at the start of the day but progressively slowed down. I got 5½ hrs sot with a stupid amount of standby, granted that is aided by naptime but phone runs and gets all the notifications it would promptly.
I have around the same stats. Yh apparently people on the arter thread have wayyy batter battery life. I'm at the point where I've done enough tweaking for it to last all day as much as I need to use it for whatever I want to do that day so it's fine. I am a bit worried that I hurt the battery too quick by using fast charging quite often when I first got it, but if I stick with this phone for years and years I'll just send it to OnePlus for a battery replacement once it stops meeting the all day markI have around the same stats. I'm no expert but it looks like your device does not doze when screen turns off. That was one of the reasons I stayed away from crDroid and went derp, there were various issues being complained about. No tweaking required apparently, I just added naptime because my stats were not looking like the other ones so I was playing around with battery stuff. I could get 6-7 hrs, but my standby would be nonexistent, or have my phone available but get less sot. Once I used naptime, that stopped being a problem, tho I haven't experienced idle drain in the decimals like others have. Arter works very well, the latest stable is the smoothest android experience I have ever had, but watching Netflix causes a phone crash. I have had a good time with the alphas tho, can't wait for the next stable release. Just make sure you backup the relevant partitions, or you will end up with a bricked device sinner or laterI'm no expert but it looks like your device does not doze when screen turns off.
Awake time with screen off is too high. And your screen off doze is 0% time.
I'm on crdroid, btw. My awake time is 2m. I use batteryguru app which has a doze tab to set it up (works well by default too). Battery charging habits matter too.
My SOT is 5hrs too cause i play a couple of heavy battery draining games. But otherwise it can reach 7½hrs easy. I think my device is not performance throttled and the SOC and battery heat up a lot during hot weather. In winter, battery temp never went past 35⁰C nows it's goes over 42⁰C.
I never tried flashing a custom kernel on this device. I'm afraid to mess it up (happened with an old tab of mine, the battery died after a while cause soc was stuck in perf mode) does it work well by default or did you have to make modifications?
Out of the few roms i tried ( StagOS, Nameless) crdroid felt the best with the most customization options.
No, really not and i'm worried it'll have an impact on my phone in the long term... I do have frequent Qualcomm crashes and freezes. I plan on msm-ing back to stock at the end of this month to clean flash a 12L rom again. As far as doze is concerned, could it be that I am using light doze rather than regular doze, so it doesn't wake up when it gets moved? Otherwise I don't know why it doesn't doze, it really should and the idle drain has gone down considerably, I've done a/b tests. Also ever since going to android 12 and using a ROM that doesn't crash once every 24hrs like clockwork, I have neevr had my phone go anywhere near that temperature, no matter the scenario. Is that normal temperatures?
Yh give it the factory reset treatment on the offchance something goes tits up... hope it goes smoothly. On the plus side, you still have your warranty! No, really not and i'm worried it'll have an impact on my phone in the long term... I do have frequent Qualcomm crashes and freezes. Rom is dead, dint you see derp announcements.so this guy just quit? lol damn. i was wondering why my phone was getting so awful
Would I be asking if I did?
It's not this guy only, it's the actual guy who was working on derpfest base. So, it's expected that devs will abandon Derpfest project.so this guy just quit? lol damn. i was wondering why my phone was getting so awful
Shame.. good rom this and still running it as I've not really found a replacement yetIt's not this guy only, it's the actual guy who was working on derpfest base. So, it's expected that devs will abandon Derpfest project.
thank you so much for your help. just that it was the first time i got such an error so was not sure. it worked.
You could rename but if I'm not mistaken it should work long as your in the folder with the boot.img like cd Downloads(or path) then fastboot flash boot boot.imgwhile flashing the boot(lemondep).img error message lemonadep is not recognized in powershell. can i rename and flash. thanks

Copy and paste should work also.
I'm sure you already know fastboot devices
will list your device if everything ok
I hope this could help. Also if nothing else you can copy path of folder with fastboot in it while placing file you want to flash in Fastboot folder if fastboot/adb isn't universal. There is guides and tools here on XDA if that would need to be an option. I'm sure you knew most of this but I wanted to give a complete answer just in case you or anyone else was wondering.
