I meant to say format data and not internal, sorry. You can download the rom and then do it, it won't be deleted. If so, you can always connect to a pc and transfer using MTP.
I don't understand your question. Just format data and flash it in recovery. You should find the steps in the old forum.
@NurKeinNeid just did a Format Data and clean install of the 16/01 build and VoLTE is still not working for me somehow, it did work on the very first build I had installed back in December. Any idea what could be causing VoLTE to not work? Is there anything I can try to make it work? I am using just your ROM with no custom kernel or anything. Just wondering what is going on here since it did work for the very first time.
Yes, multiple times, still not resolved. Also facing the SMS not sending issue due to this - I can send SMS only after switching off VoLTE.

First, awesome work by the devs! I've been running Derp on my 5t since 10.0. Derp rocks!
Recently tried flashing to 12 from 11 and got stuck on the boot screen with the derp owl for about 45 minutes before I killed it. Wiped system, data, storage, cache, everything. Flashed again, rebooted several times, same result. Anybody know anything obvious I missed?

APN list was changed to CAF instead of Pixels because I was told it's better in general. So I suspect that manually adding or correcting APN would fix your issue I guess if it was fine in December build for you.
I removed all APNs and created a new one manually, still VoLTE is not working. It is working on my partner's Pixel 3A with my SIM in it. Did multiple restarts as well but still it is not working.
OK, so the following has worked for me, not sure how it might affect the calling or the call quality.
1. Change the preferred network type to 'LTE'
2. Switch on VoLTE
3. Voila! It works now!
I am still not getting the VoLTE icon on the statusbar but I made a call and tried surfing the internet and it worked! Can other people with non-working VoLTE also try this and report back??

Phone services (not the Dialer) accesses detailed cellular information which is considered to be location information. It's a base OS component serving the intended purpose and shouldn't worry anyone. I don't know why it's showing up more often now. Just flash latest build from GDrive. It's now excluded. I just don't have time right now to spend a whole day uploading four files to two hosters. I have uploaded official builds on GDrive for both devices already. I just don't find time for the rest.....
For both devices again. That's why also changes from last dumpling build are in the changelog.

What's broken?
- Dual sim does not work
- Mobile data only works on SIM1 slot
- Reverting to 11 may be difficult and may require reset of internal storage

Sorry for the delay. It's my fault. I was not satisfied yesterday. But it turned out it was just me. But that also meant that we now had more time and could add and fix more stuff. Many thanks to all who helped, especially to @idoybh.
I'm not sure I should push OTA. I think it's safer for the next release. I now have a whole week of free time and can finally devote more time to the ROM. Let's see what we can bring new.

1) How do i install Derpfest Shion A12?
- Take backup of internal storage (files/pdf/documents etc)
- If you are encrypted: Flash rom and format internal storage(type yes to wipe)
-If you are decrypted: flash rom and reboot
1a) Why should I format my internal storage?
- As of now in A12, twrp cannot decrypt data which means you cannot input password in twrp and flash files.
- This rom has not enforced encryption which means twrp will now work(to circumvent the need for adb/pc for flashing)
2) I am bootlooping!!
- You are bootlooping because you were encrypted and flashed the latest build.
-format internal storage(type yes to wipe) and it should boot.
3) Can twrp decrypt?
- As of now in A12 no.
4)How do I sideload?
- Use a pc with working adb.
- reboot to twrp> advanced>sideload>swipe.
- open command prompt on your pc and type:
adb sideload filename.zip (replace file and with filename of zip)
5) How can I change the base color of Monet?
- you'll need to use color override in monet settings and input the Hexcode of your favorite color
