[ROM][12L] DerpFest for OnePlus 5/T [Official][2022-05-03]

OK, so the following has worked for me, not sure how it might affect the calling or the call quality.
1. Change the preferred network type to 'LTE'
2. Switch on VoLTE
3. Voila! It works now!

I am still not getting the VoLTE icon on the statusbar but I made a call and tried surfing the internet and it worked! Can other people with non-working VoLTE also try this and report back??

I have been living with no VoLTE at all for the past two months, certainly do not mind living with no icon as long as it is actually working!

So I got the icon working as well! Go to Settings > DerpSpace > Statusbar > Miscellaneous > Select a VoLTE icon from the slider, change it to anything apart from default, you should be able to see the icon in the statusbar!

That worked. I tried it before but I guess that time VoLTE wasn't working so nothing happened. Also, the VoLTE might go away on restart and need to enable again. But it's better than no VoLTE.

got that new call strength icon on left , still no VoLTE.

here's what I did,
- delete all APNs
- manually add 4g official one
- change preferred to 'LTE'
- Turn on VoLTE

waited for like 10 mins, nothing happened so did a reboot. got that new call strength icon in status bar.

do I need to do something different from above mentioned steps or...


anyway thanks for bringing it up though I see it has worked for few.if this keeps on happening then, we may expect a official fix in near future.

Goto Settings -> About Phone -> Radio Info -> Click on the menu icon on top and IMS service status. You should see IMS Registration: Registered and VoLTE: Available. This means that 4G is enabled even if VoLTE icon is not showing.

For for me in one month and a half that I use Derpfest works always I got the high definition sign during calls Volte appears everytime ,maybe it need some reboots after dirty flash but that's not a big problem,it s always there and working

Check whether u are able to receive calls from other person?

So...
On second sim i can receive phone call. SMS. But MMS are not allowed?
On first sim every thing is ok?

My second sim is for phone call , SMS and MMS(photos ans long SMS)

Sorry for my noob question but I've wiped the internal storage after have sideloaded the rom and magisk, but when I reboot it stucks on the owl boot logo. Someone can help me?

So it's great rom so far, smooth & stable. Really rejuvenate this phone.
Unfortunately i got 1 bug that bugging me,
It's happen during WhatsApp call. So during call, after a while the screen will turned off. And when i turn on the screen will show blank black screen, with white line in bottom(as attached). And I cannot close the call or minimize Whatsapp. To exit the blank black screen, either the other side of the caller should close the call or i try to lock the screen & unlock many times.
just want to check, Is there anyone got the same problem?
