The phone crashed completely, EDL mode did not work with either physical keys or commands via ADB or fastboot. I restored stock with All In One Tolls + MSM Toll.
To restore your device using EDL mode then follow these steps it worked for me.

1. Boot into bootloader( press and hold volume plus + volume minus + power button untill you see oneplus logo)
2. Navigate through the menu and turn off the device.
3. Open and setup MSM tool
4. Press and hold volume + and volume - and connect the device to your pc
5. See if your device is listed in the msm tool.
A. if yes then start flashing
B. if no then download and install Qualcomm Qloader 9008 drivers and then see if your device shows as qualcomm qloader 9008 in the device manager on your pc.
6. once flashing is done your phone will automatically reboot.

I wrote above that I fixed it with two apps but thank you.

Installing DerpFest using Lineage recovery and ADB sideload is much easier and safer than the one described at the beginning of this topic.

Hi, Double tap to wake isn't working on Oneplus 7 pro-Latest build? I installed it and tested it out it wasn't working for me atleast. What could be the issue?

DerpFest is not bad but I use Polish language. Unfortunately, 30% of the settings are not translated and it looks bad and is not very comfortable to use. In addition, when the phone is not awake for several minutes, I cannot wake it up by touching the screen and I have to press the power button.

I don't have this screen issue, perhaps check my post a few replies back and set to "wake device" or enable double tap to wake.

Hey guys, I've just installed this ROM (coming from Havoc, A11). I find it absolutely wonderful, but I have a huge problem: mobile internet data is not working somehow. I'm using the phone dual-sim, only one SIM has internet (the one selected, slot 1). Taking the other SIM out doesn't change anything.

I do get SMS and calls, but mobile data (even if turned ON) it just doesn't work.

Anyone with this issue, and has been solved?

Mobile data working perfectly just add your APN setting from your network operator

Is the Google Pay not working a known issue already? Can't find it in the first post, nor in the comment in this thread.

Plus as some people might have questions:
  1. I have tried to install it on top of OOS 11 (Doesn't work)
  2. I have installed OOS 10 on top of OOS 11 and then tried to install DF OS (Didn't work either)
  3. I had to install OOS 10 with the unbrick tool and then after unlocking it and updating it until the right version i managed to install it (probably might have worked with older versions but i tried to make it as accurate as possible)
  4. I was using only fastboot method no TWRP
  5. Magisk is installed the usual way by patching the OS's Boot.img and then booting into it and doing (direct install)
  6. As about the attached Assistant "Fix" Assistant seemed to work fine out of the box but i was wondering is these words "Google Assistant 2.0" were true and oh my happy smile on my face once i've seen pixel 5 Assistant UI and oh that smile fell off after seeing safety net being not passed BUT after unistalling the Magisk module the UI 2.0 Stayed and the SafetyNet is passed ! So it is safe !!! (After that I tried to install it again and SafetyNet still passed so i guess it was something about "First loading or something")
Hope this will be helpful for future users how will want to experience this wonderful OS

Also gotta point out for developers:
  • You might want to insert Qualcomm voice Assist app into the ROM to make google Assistant work while screen is locked and also that might be the cause why Pixel's "Now Playing" feature doesn't work
  • Also after installing Google Assistant 2.0 Now Playing seems got grayed out and i can't disable it nor do anything to it.
Hello where did you get the boot.img i cant find in the derp firmware i want to install Magisk as well ..

After enabling adb sideload, you need to connect your phone to your pc, open a command prompt in the platform tools directory and enter adb sideload <path to magisk.zip (rename .apk to .zip)>.
Thats it.

For all, who wants to choose the Slot where DerpFest should be installed. A | B | Both.
Here's my script which i've been used to update/install.
Just put it in a textfile and rename it to ".bat"

Lean back and get more s**tloads of coffee until it's done.

@NurKeinNeid - Thank you very much, for giving the OTA Updater back!

    Best regards!

Yes, it is. It would be nice to have the same option not only for ringtone, but also for notifications.
I figured it out. Now it's added...;)

Some may have already seen it coming. I was more silent for some time here. A11 is now End Of Life and I don't plan any more updates for it. I do everything alone and simply do not have the time to maintain several Android version.

So now this thread switched to Android 12 since most stuff is fully working and some essentials already added. I think DerpFest is in good state to get some first impression of the new OS.
