anyone can help with rooting this phone? nothing works for me tried everything cant even fastboot cant do crap. Realme UI Recovery ver 1.2 is blocking me from doing anything to this phone. any idea?

You need to downgrade to stock android 9 (color os) then you should be able to unlock bootloader, as per instructions from realme website, run a Google search and you will find the post, I did the downgrade cause nothing worked on latest realme UI

did everything. downgrade to stock android 9 "unlocked bootloader" via in depth test because it finally worked but CANT do fastboot. and it shows "fastboot mode device locked". nothing works cant do fastboot because its not recognised on windows but adb devices works. did clean uninstall of everything and reinstall and still nothing works. Its first phone for me when I've got problems unlocking and everything what a piece of c... realme is really ****. Like I said tried everything there is on the internet everywhere and nothing works still "Device Locked".

Time to get some normal phone I guess and this one will be back to the lastest stock realme OS last updated November 2021 what a circus.

Thanks for your help guys but for me nothing works this phone is just locked/blocked completely.

It seems you don't have fastboot drivers for your device installed on your windows.

    LineageOS is a free, community-built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community.     Device specific features:

    Known issues:
    • Disabled Encryption (For a while until we get a newer recovery)
    • Some of the Realme settings features (will be fixed sooner or later)
    • Maybe something else can be found as well
    • Most of the lineage features maybe buggy or probably won't work, LineageOS team is working on it
    • SELinux is permissive



    Report bugs:
    • DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
    • Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

    Interesting to see that kernel 4.4 will get official lineage 19 support, but 3.8 and under won't. As my Realme X2Pro is 4.1, though, it's in no man's land 😂.

    I imagine that the phone is getting long in the tooth for you now, Karthick, but I do hope that you are able to move the phone onto that platform or get pretty close to it.

    The current issues with Lineage 18 and 19 for the phone have prevented me from making the jump, but my previous phone ported to lineage very well and so I live in hope that you will be kind enough to get us there with this one. If you're thinking of moving on to another phone, please let us know. I'm very excited about the recent news. In the meantime, thank you so much for your tireless work on the phone to date, I'm so grateful for developers like yourself working for undeserving people like myself. It's truly appreciated.
