So you install 3c toolbox. Then go in tools, script editor, you install the script from there and then you will see on the left side of the script a little icon like a circle. Press that and it should say script will run from boot. Then reboot your phone

If i dirty flash the new update, will i lose data. Will it data wipe my phone or will everything stay

I have found something in a form of a magisk module. People say its way better than the stock miui cam but i cant confirm its this version included. We can wait until someone installs the rom

I assume i can't do dirt flash from A12 version to A13 version, right? Could somewhone post here latest ventom kernel? Thanks.

Redmi Note 10 Pro
Currently trying out the new version. Looks good so far. Dont know about battery life though. Will report overnight. Leica Camera seems pretty nice. This is the original MIUI camera from Mi 12 phones, right? Had to deactivate some stuff in camera settings like face recognition and HDR since the camera stutters as soon as I use it. Other than that: Pretty good.

Can you please report on battery usage after a couple of days of usage.

So, short reply after over a day of usage and how i started:

Came from PixelOS 12. Did it in this order:
Charged to 100%
OrangefoxRecovery: Wiped Data(confirm yes), Wiped Dalvik/Metadata/Data/Internal storage/Cache

Installed newest sweet EU firmware from source, installed latest PixelOS 13, wiped Data. Restart.

Installed Tiktok, all kinds of Google Services and updated every App(29). Kept Mobile Data, Wifi, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth. 23% on Tiktok usage, alot of text messages and browsing Google Chrome.

Going to sleep on 72%, kept everything on. 9 hours later, 69%. Pretty good Id say with everything on.

Will update after a few days as well, but it looks good so far. Camera seems very nice as well, still needs some testing. But I think face recocgnition, HDR and something else seems to make the movement stutter abit, when you move the camera. Need some more testing on that.

I also lost 3% battery overnight, not bad honestly, still manageable. I will test out the camera today

    You should read the blog https://blog.pixelos.net/ there it say this "Unfortunately, this requires a clean flash (or involves the tedious process of granting the permission to each app manually)" from the January post

    Flashing Instructions

    Quick hotfix update for the July patch as I wasn't sure if we would have another Android 12 release as 13 is right around the corner.

    On my device I've found that sometimes my phone wasn't going to deep sleep because of smp2p_sleepstate wakelock.
    I've decided to disable this kernel module and see what happens. I'm using this configuration since few days and I'm rather happy with the results - I don't see any regressions after disabling the module and my battery drain issue is solved. At least from this particular reason.

    So I'd like to share the build.

    As always, You're flashing this at your own risk. I don't know if this will work on any other rom than PixelOS (most probably will work. I'm not sure about miui based roms. Feel free to try).

    It's regular Vantom kernel, compiled with latest commit 3c6e92509e0ad1aca8419db926b2cc82b1c5acb1 (HEAD -> courbet-12.1, origin/courbet-12.1).

    And if it does, is there a way to use it to mount decrypted /data and tar its contents up, with SELinux labels etc.? I'm willing to get my hands very dirty if it means I can avoid setting up the phone by hand again.

    Hello, I've compiled a TWRP build that supports decrypting /data on Android 12 as well as supporting EROFS. It's a very early build but it does the job and I haven't run into any issues here. Enjoy!
