Flashing NikGapps makes the system never start, flashing FlameGapps does start but then when you have to accept the use of google services, it loops to asking your password and them the configuration app fails and you can never even go to the launcher.

I have a redmi9 model M2004J19G (it's also called Lancelot right?).
The phone has an unlocked bootloader (checked with fastboot), I would like to install your lineageOS rom (a long time ago I was using a cyanogen on another phone) but among the requirements I read that you need a recovery that can install android 12.

So here I'm a little clueless, if I start the recovery with vol+ and power_on buttons it starts redmi-recovery 3.0 (I guess it's the original recovery), currently on the phone is installed "MIUI Global 12.0.1 Stable" rom.

Could you please give me the link of a recovery to install in order to be able to flash your rom and in case also some instructions? (although I read that I have just to download the image and give a command from fastboot).

I was currently looking at these posts:

I tried to install the update ROM 20220811 through the system update but it won't install automatically. I also tried to install it on TWRP Recovery however it failed.

May I ask how did you install the 20220811 updated ROM? Did you install it through the system update or you flash it as new ROM? I wanted to update it but it required to wipe the cache again?

I tried to install the update ROM 20220811 through the system update but it won't install automatically. I also tried to install it on TWRP Recovery however it failed.

Tried using this TWRP and got same dynamic partition error

Try flash different TWRP for A11

You must have an unlocked bootloader, an up-to-date recovery is installed with support for installing 12 android.
- Flash this archive (from the home folder /data) it will create a backup of the files. This is done once (save the backups you have in a safe place).
Imei backup - here

- Wipe Dalvik/Art, Cache, Format Data and separately Data via yes.

- Reboot to recovery.

- Flash in FW

- Flash in ROM

- Flash GApps, Magisk, etc.

- Reboot to system

Attention!​

Install gapps right after installing the rom itself don't try to boot to system before that if you want to use gapps (Or wipe data before installing them)

Using latest MIUI as base for this build fixed every problem previous builds had, indeed there's more stability so I recommend other users to see the updated OP to follow instructions and for those who bricked their device or got bootloping the system, use the ROM the OP have for MIUI and then install lineage, the performance is lot way better than a GSI 🥹

Unfortunately, if you use the latest official MIUI ROM on this device, it is not possible anymore to flash a recovery (TWRP or any of its varaints) cause flash process via ADB is blocked. Ergo, those people are not able to flash a custom ROM.

If anyone has a solution to this, please let me know.

im on 12.0.4 global rom , should i flash the latest global miui 12.5.6 ?
and i think i can not flash miui 13 yet because its still only for china roms

You should use the main OP MiUi12 or android 12 firmware in order to make everything works, SP downgrade is still posible at this point (ur point)

The new vendor - 12 android (from MIUI) requires a different installation, which I specified in the description
