Has the thread title been updated a little early? Is there an impending release with android-in-a-window? Gamma 4 doesn't seem to have it. I want to flash sfdroid but multirom won't let me flash a zip on my sailfish installation
Gamma 4 is running very well though. GPS is very good. Radio all good using 1.07.

Yes, this problem with multirom is with the newest version of multirom. I must downgrade to multirom twrp 2015-06-30 (v2.8.7) few weeks ago.

Sailfish OS feels great on my N4, loving it! I do have got a question. I've been trying to install the sfdroid using answer 16, because in TWRP 3.0.0.0 recovery I don't see the SFOS files, just the CM files. But I can't seem to mount /dev/mmcblk0p28 to /android, because then I get "mount: special device /dev/mmcblk0p28 does not exist", does anyone know how to go from here?

EDIT: I managed to do it, by placing the .zip in /data, somehow TWRP could see it there.

can anybody point me to the steps to upgrade from the sailfishos-mako-release-2.0.0.10-beta9-201511170824 to the latest gamma 3 with CM11 version and radio.img?
just to be on the safer side so that i should lose anything.

BTW thanks for the great work done for mako, now i can say i am proud to be Mako man.

Only this gamma4 is OTA ready (for future versions). You can't upgrade from older

Im already on gamma4 and just tried it.
Some packages where updated, everything seems ok

But i'm not sure if I can/should do this again for future updates (via zypper) ?

Found a bug. WiFi work great but if u lost connection because out of range or u disable it and enable it again it wont work. U must reboot to have wifi working again. Anyone has got this issue? Is there a terminal code line to fix this issue?

I hope everyone enjoys the image at least as much as I enjoyed making it As you see in the OP, I am just one of the people who made it happen, and wouldn't have succeeded without all the great people from #sailfishos-porters. It's them who made it a thrilling adventure.

As per sgroimax's question about the "gamma" part of the version, ReneX10 is right - it's the next after beta releases, and as "gamma" is the next Greek alphabet letter, it was obvious I know "gamma" releases aren't very popular, but some may remember the good-old DOS packaging program "arj" that had gamma releases.

Personally I'm running this on radio-mako-m9615a-cefwmazm-2.0.1700.98.img and as a single-rom. I can't verify sfdroid due to some "other issues", which I am pretty sure no sane person would have. Nevertheless I'm glad that it is working for you

I'm not sure if that's the same one, but I found that when moving from 3g to wifi, and when both are active, all the default routes get removed. Turning 3g off and re-enabling wifi solves it. You can check if that's the case by checking the "ifconfig" and "route" outputs while you experience that.

I'm yet to investigate what might be the cause.

Wow wow wow wow WOW. This is seriously incredible. Amazing work! I have since moved on from my Nexus 4 but had to pull it back out and switch to make this my driver for a while starting tonight because of how good this is. Sfdroid is BLOWING MY MIND. How is it this smooth? It TOTALLY works. Phew. Ok gotta catch my breath because I DO have some bugs/suggestions.
- MMS works only if Wifi is off
- I can confirm the wifi reconnect issue. Disabling both cell network and wifi and then reenabling wifi FIRST and then cell network will fix the issue.
- tapping on an incoming text message from the notification center will open the conversation but it is blank. Replying anyway will work and suddenly the conversation will populate
- gallery and email apps have the same bug as previous builds where it will give you the reminder tutorial to swipe to the side for more options and nothing really makes it go away

For those thinking about how to do this, I recommend flashing AOSP 4.4.4 which of course will wipe your device but it will force the modem flash and reset the device to a nice solid kitkat base for Sailfish to sit on top of. I did the multirom thing for a long time and it got exhausting! Much better this way. I understand if the N4 is your primary phone and don't want to of course.

Okay guys, really thanks for all your supports! I flashed 4.4.4 stock, Flashed SFOS2 gamma4, installed SFDroid for cm11(I think this was the problem, I've install CM10.1 version before)(https://www.dropbox.com/s/5yo0netk0srfnh6/sfdroid-mako-for_cm11.zip?dl=0).
Everything really good! This is now (almost) truly a daily driver! Although SFDroid is still a little bit laggy, but who cares? Full android inside beautiful SFOS! This is heaven.
Thanks to all developers who bought this to mako!

P.S. About SFDroid. Does the android turn to some sort of hibernation mode when SFDroid app is closed in SFOS? 'Cause even if I close SFDroid, it turns on again super fast when I run the app again. Is this normal? Doesn't it run on background and consume battery and mobile data?

yes, it goes to sleep when not in focus after a set period of time. Also how laggy?, if it's a tiny bit then that's normal (probably just Android being slow)
