Never mind that, I was a complete ding dong and forgot to update to 1/05 build before installing. Awesome ROM, thanks for bringing it to us!

Any cheetah users able to get sim card recognized? No network on boot, says no SIM inserted. Came from December feature drop. I'm gonna update to 1/05 build and see if it helps.

I've already moved on to another rom, but had this up and running for most of yesterday without any issues with sim recognition/network. I don't think it has been added to op (and it really should!) but Jan firmware is what this is based on and that might do the trick.

Indeed it was the issue! I honestly should have known this after using custom roms since 2010 lmao

With roms for this phone so far, be EXTRA vigilant about the firmware.....some are Jan some are Dec and a few are still Nov!! (sorry for OT)

I have not rooted but unfortunately I can no longer integrate paypal into the wallet. There is an error, the system is not secure.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that this can be changed. You would need to install Magisk, install the universal safetynet module, configure the denylist to block google services and the banking/wallet/payment apps, and then create a clone (work profile app) with Island.

so i had to use pixel flasher 4.8.0.0 to flash every image individually. booted now and testing

i can offer better one on one support and fixes that way. i have a horrible time remembering to check the posts on xda and i flash alot of test builds which means xda only gets logged into when i think about.

i dont want you think there isnt support. theres plenty.
