I mean it is possible, but I would refrain for two reasons
1. I am not knowledgable enough to properly do it
2. Would much rather not mess with things and wait for an official update from google which update modem and radio.

I think you should give it a shot. I will tell you why!

You can do them like that, through Fastboot. Skip -w command to avoid a FORMAT.

Has anyone else root device with magisk 25.2

I too experienced this bootloop, and I had read your post but toggled zygisk without thinking . Since 25.2 works everywhere else I use it, I imagine it is a problem with the rom..... @pranavasri, any thoughts on this?

EDIT: Nevermind, after reading thru the OP in this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/tutorial-magisk-enabling-32-bit-support-for-apps.4521029/unread, I see that since Dec stock update Zygisk is broke for everyone.

To the best of my knowledge, just flashing vendor_boot to both your slots through fastboot should give you the recovery. This can be extracted from rom zip. Keep the following in mind tho
1. Your existing rom might not both after that (as we are not exclusively flashing recovery)
2. If you flash another rom, this will get over written by that ROM's implementation.

Hence not worth the process to individually flash it.
Although if you do flash stag, it'll be your recovery by default

Thank you for the details. Do you have info on what StagOS Recovery is based on? Are there screenshots of it? It it inspired by or does it use code from TWRP? I just want to confirm it does indeed provide the ability to perform a full image backup of the device and give you the ability to restore it? I am really wanting the capability to back up more than just apps and data.

Likely LOS recovery, which is based on AOSP recovery.

First thanks a lot to the OP for this rom, it's so smooth and customisable I love it ! It's been a very long time that I didn't install any custom ROM, it brings back old memories.. I use to install custom ROM, root, and brick all of my phones back in the days ahah

Can someone tell me it's experience with root on this rom ? I'm interested in rooting just to install kirisakura kernel and it's power hint magisk module. I'd like to keep gpay working, so I understood that I'd need to use zygisk to do so, but it seems to be broken unfortunately. Am I right ? Has anyone been able to root and hide gpay properly to get it working with this rom?

It says Monet in your screenshot. Last option. Not sure what you mean?

Those are each just a preset, there is no place to pick your own colors. Usually there is "Wallpaper and Style" settings for this....

EDIT: OK, I just found that it is there under "Wallpaper" settings. It's hidden among all the other choices for wallpaper source, never seen it there before! Profit!!

Not sure how exactly, but I managed to flash Calyx and stock and it maintained Stag recovery without me even trying. I don't mind, it's my favorite recovery right now anyway since you took out the annoying signature warning.

That can't possibly be true. I'm on January stock ROM using Zygisk via the modded Magisk Delta build from that thread without any issues whatsoever.

It is most certainly true....I wasn't talking about Delta but regular 25.2
