Após 6 horas após a atualização, acho que 9.5 é muito melhor que 9.4. Atualização suja de 9.4 (2 de maio) e tudo funcionando sem problemas.
oops, how are you? Let me ask you a question... I have crdroid 9.4 with build date April 14, 2023... and an update to version 9.5 build May 21, 2023 appeared on my cell phone system... I make this update for the crdroid purpose on the cell phone, ****??? or will i have to do a clean update through TWRP and all that annoying work of clearing cache and blah blah blah ? Has anyone done this update for the purpose of the system and is it smooth? the kernel is this: 4.14.312-sigmaKernel-v1.0

no clean install needed, you can either use the system updater if you have a compatible recovery (like orange fox or twrp) or dirty flash it yourself..

man, I did the update... at first it started but the googleplay service was giving an error... then I turned it off, it turned on by itself and stayed in bootloop... I tried to do the clean installation using TWRP 3.6.2... I did format data, then I went to advanced and cleaned dalvik, data, internal storage and cache... I installed fw v13 (which is in the CRdroid post), I installed Crdroid 9.5, I installed mindgapps that was on their page. .. .and finally I installed DFE v2.... when I started the system it continued in bootloop, only this time stuck in the room's loading screen and not restarting as before... what do you believe it could be? I'm thinking of putting the 9.4 again with FW14 the nikgapps core that was before...
PLEASE HELP ME... NOT THAT AGAIN. :(

i ve updated with the updater app many times without any problem. dfe is not necessary, try flashing newer bersion of twrp https://dl.twrp.me/vayu/

So in this case updating TWRP may work? then when installing the ROM just install the recommended FW (v13) and CRdroid 9.5... after installed I go back to TWRP and install the gapps... right??
a doubt, to update TWRP just do the same process through the CMD that I did to install it right? and after installing you don't have to do anything else so that it doesn't come out??

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ah another thing... can i install it by fastboot mode?? because it won't start to put it in USB debugging and everything.

ok.
a. don t worry about the firmware, it doesn t make much difference.
b. either install twrp through fastboot, or use your existing twrp to flash orangefox. i suggest orangefox because it allows deletion of survival scripts that allows elimination of gapps.
c. once in recovery
i. delete survival scripts (through orange fox or by deleting the system/addon.d folder) to make sure gapps are not installed automatically
ii. format data
iii. install crdroid
iv. install mindthegapps for android 13
v. reboot.

you should be fine.

ps. how were you able to install crdroid 9.4 with twrp 3.6... didnt think it was compatible...

Suck with this rom that u can't recover your backup from google drive. Every password, config, apps, etc need to be installed from 0. U lost everything. This is no no for me until u add the google backup thing when setting up the phone. Still looking for the progress of this rom because is the most I like with Evo X, except for this.

I agree with you.
Swift backup solved this problem for me.

Google backup works fine if you either install mindthegapps or the appropriate nikgapps addon. Stick with mindthegapps for an all in one solution..

    Hello
now i have miui 14.0.3 on my phone but i want to install 9.8.
which Firmware and GAPPS should I choose?
should I change the kernel too?
any firmware is good. gapps go with mindthegapps or nikgapps core/basic + search addon. kernel is included in rom file.

dont know about f5. but if you had playstore before, your gapps package had a survival script and reinstalled automatically.
I've never had gapps, I sideload apps. I've had vanilla since I got my X3 Pro when it was released. I can see what happened actually, I was trying to resolve microg and installed microg-gapps, which didn't come into effect until I rebooted after the update. Because of my experiences with my F5, I assumed the worst. Glad it's sorted.

    a. recommended gapps is mind thegapps. alternative nikgapps core or basic + search addon. you can flash more addons but pixel launcher causes problems.
    b. formating data removed data. nikgapps has a survival script and remains. you can remove it by either i. using the "remove survival scripts addon if you use orangefox recovery or ii. delete the system/addon.d folder if you have root (more on this on nikgapps site).

i d also suggest trying evolution x which comes with gapps included.

most gapps (apart from some that integrate with the system) can be installed from playstore.

in conclusion, if you dont want to keep trying installing various roms, either evo x or crdroid+nikgapps core + search addon

    hope it helps

Hello, I need some advice. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I do the data format, I install the miui13 fw, I install the crdroid v9 rom, I install nickgapps for android 13, I format again and the phone stays on the crdroid home screen forever. I already tried several times
Broh, if you come from stock miui then install twrp, copy this rom on stick usb drive then format davlik/data/cache, format data with yes then reboot to recovery. Install rom and wipe davlik and data with yes option then reboot to system.

Ok so, after a couple of days using v9, i can say it's pretty stable and very close to what v8.10 was, tho i found some bugs:

    - Camera is weird. Some apps works perfeclty fine, others the camera hangs after taking a pic or trying to change to another camera (like front or back one).
    - Bluetooth seems more unstable than v8.10, tho i dont know for sure if it is something to do with the ROM or my earbuds.
    - Launcher was crashing when i was trying to delete a shortcut made by the "Playing now" feature (which i cant enable BTW), i think the Launcher doesnt play nice with shortcuts created by other apps, since v8.10 i also had it crashing while trying to uninstall webapps installed through Edge Browser.

so far those are the only things i've noticed, the rest seems to be working perfectly fine!
only thing im missing in my tests are games, still havent found time to test them, tho i think they will play fine.

    Thanks for the amazing ROM!
