I remove pin and i tried to backup.
Same problem.
How can i decrypt my data ?
The problem is not a "decrypt" you need to disable the "encryption" as well.
TWRP can decrypt the file in encrypted (almost latest TWRP now support decrypt A13)
So if do a backup the /data partition that encrypted, change ROM, restore the data, then the new ROM will be failed to decrypt the encrypted data from previous ROM.
That's why TWRP not allowed you to backup encrypted data.
There's a two solution for this case.

1. Backup all your internal memory file to PC/Flash drive/Micro SD.
So. You can transfer back the data after change your ROM.

2. Disable Force Encryption (DFE). You will lose all data from internal memory (/data partition)
You need to format /data, install DFE, and stay unencrypted.
You need to flash DFE every updating/change ROM to keep disable forced encryption

Some how i wipe everything i could, i format all my data and internal storage, i install same rom ( crdroid 9.1) and the problem fixed.
Bad news i lost all my data and good news i can backup again via twrp.
One more question:
When i try to restore without wiping data there is a message " Restore while PIN is Enable ? Pin should disabled before restore. "

I have enabled all the permissions and cleared storage of phone app. But it still does not work.
Open setting > apps > default apps > dialer/phone > select the phone apps.

If you stay encrypted it's not recommended to backup data with TWRP

nope, just reboot to recovery and dirty flash the rom.
I tried to re-dirty flash the ROM. However, I faced a new problem where the ROM dirty flash resulted in error that said as attached.

It stopped after the recovery backuped everything and is saying "Patching system image unconditionally". The install does not progress, and when I tried to reinput the ADB sideload command, it said adb: failed to read command: No error (as attached in the pic).

I have never encountered this problem before, and I did not touch the phone at all during the whole process.

After several reattempt, it managed to be successfully re-flashed. However, during the last successful prompt, the recovery appears to not backup all the gApps related things and just directly goes to "patching system image unconditionally". After succeeded, clearing cache, and rebooting, the phone stuck in a bootloop, rebooting after sometime loading during the crDroid eye logo.

What should I do? I never expected this to occur since I can flash things without problems last time, and thus have created no backup.

Any help is greatly appreciated, and thank you for you previous helps.

if i were you, i d redownload the rom, put it on sd or flash drive and try to flash it from the recovery after formating data.

if this fails, i d try to revert to stock rom with the mi flash tool and start over.

Did you pass SafetyNet?
Or try Magisk Delta, you can disable Magisk temporarily.
So you can play your game, then just reboot to get root working back again.
last time i check yes . will se now
magisk delta? a replacement or what ? where do i find it
safety net test app says
-basic integrity failed
-cts profile fail

I updated to 9.3, but the 'recent items' button
(the square button next to home) does not work anymore. It shows no open apps at all.

On starting up, the system says that the settings assistant does not respond.

I tried reverting back to 9.2 by installing it over 9.3, but that's a no-go, the system hangs.

Back to 9.3 same problems.
i use the Nova launcher.
(But pixel launcher has the same error)

Any thoughts?

    a. recommended gapps is mind thegapps. alternative nikgapps core or basic + search addon. you can flash more addons but pixel launcher causes problems.
    b. formating data removed data. nikgapps has a survival script and remains. you can remove it by either i. using the "remove survival scripts addon if you use orangefox recovery or ii. delete the system/addon.d folder if you have root (more on this on nikgapps site).

i d also suggest trying evolution x which comes with gapps included.

most gapps (apart from some that integrate with the system) can be installed from playstore.

in conclusion, if you dont want to keep trying installing various roms, either evo x or crdroid+nikgapps core + search addon

    hope it helps

With latest 9.4-Update the freezes are gone for me. 24h without freezes with Stock Kernel
I also updated my X3Pro to 9.4-20230502 with included kernel yesterday. It runs smoothly, no freezes.

I upgrade to 9.5 one hour ago and everything is ok. I think there is no freezes. I will be sure of that after few hours of using newest update.
After 6 hours after upgrade i think that 9.5 is much better than 9.4. Dirty upgrade from 9.4 (2 may) and everything working without problem.

Of all AOSP rom I tried, I liked so much EvolutionX I recommend it too.

Hello, I need some advice. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I do the data format, I install the miui13 fw, I install the crdroid v9 rom, I install nickgapps for android 13, I format again and the phone stays on the crdroid home screen forever. I already tried several times
Broh, if you come from stock miui then install twrp, copy this rom on stick usb drive then format davlik/data/cache, format data with yes then reboot to recovery. Install rom and wipe davlik and data with yes option then reboot to system.

Ok so, after a couple of days using v9, i can say it's pretty stable and very close to what v8.10 was, tho i found some bugs:

    - Camera is weird. Some apps works perfeclty fine, others the camera hangs after taking a pic or trying to change to another camera (like front or back one).
    - Bluetooth seems more unstable than v8.10, tho i dont know for sure if it is something to do with the ROM or my earbuds.
    - Launcher was crashing when i was trying to delete a shortcut made by the "Playing now" feature (which i cant enable BTW), i think the Launcher doesnt play nice with shortcuts created by other apps, since v8.10 i also had it crashing while trying to uninstall webapps installed through Edge Browser.

so far those are the only things i've noticed, the rest seems to be working perfectly fine!
only thing im missing in my tests are games, still havent found time to test them, tho i think they will play fine.

    Thanks for the amazing ROM!
