Well, freezing screen hit me on Arrow OS too. Also reflashed that on top, looking for stock kernel right now, trying to do that. But I guess that chinese phone is done. Any ideas?

you can always use MiFlash tool and flash the original rom (fastboot version with flash_all.bat or miflash, carefully select: clean & don't lock). this brings you always back on track, from there you can try installing other roms.
too bad it's taking longer than expected to see a bugfix release. we also miss the march security updates.
that's like replacing one evil with another.. the one is freezing, the other is calling home with bloatware (apparently).
it's hard to wait for bugfixes, but the other options also have downsides, mostly time consuming downsides.
I love CRdroid roms but they don't work for me (like all custom roms must say), all fail in something,touch or camera or sound or WiFi..., flashing the boot.img and dtbo.img from stock rom fixes the touch problem, I have the 256/8 model

The main problem of the last update is that the system crashes frequently and shuts down or reboots itself every other day.
In addition, Rom still has a touch problem.
The touch problem was only eliminated once when I had to roll back the version to 8.10 after a failed upgrade to 8.12
Unfortunately, the 8.x versions contained a major bug with wakelocks and too fast power consumption.
In the penultimate version 9.1, in addition to the good bugs, I noticed fast battery drain when we set the ING mobile app to support default NFC.
In fact, eliminating wakelocks, reboots and touch issues will make this custom Rom version the best.

My note 10 pro is on stock rom with everything stock. I randomly lost cell data connection while driving while using maps navigation. Is this from the stock rom or is it a hardware issue?
I did a clean flash of March 19th build. Panorama mode is working now, also I can download other modes!

in some kernels the reddish screen color look on low brightness got fixed, I guess it was sleepy kernel iirc. the reddish look occured only when using 120Hz screen refresh rate. it is avoidable when switching to 60Hz.

There is a Dolby Audio app included in the distro. It gives very weird, unusable results if switched on to "intelligent". Volumes are all over the place in Spotify.
Did anyone experience the same?
Downloaded some mi flash tool stuff. Needs additional software at launch, always prompting that, can't skip. No batch files in subfolders. You got a fingerpoint in the right direction?
Until then, just flashed elite rom. Plus I got a new daily driver, also already flashed a privacy and security frocused custom ROM.
get the fastboot version of your choice here: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/sweet/
extract the fastboot archive (.tar.gz -> .gz -> extracted files) to some temp dir.
install mi flash tool, make sure you have an adb driver installed that recognizes the phone, mi flash tool can install them from the menu, or you can install them manually from the mi flash tool subdir. it's just so the computer and mi flash detects your phone for fastboot.
mi flash tool is a kinky app it might nag at startup for a missing "log" or "logs" dir in it's program folder. if it does so, create such folder.
after all that, select the fastboot rom from the previous extraction dir (flash_all.bat should be there). be careful at the bottom right: select clean all, not clean and lock. otherwise it gets locked again. then flash, it takes a while and it will maybe show you an error but it's normal if you deselect "lock".

I stick to CrDroid home, it's much much better than Pixel.
I always used to flash NikGapps full where it kept "CrDroid home" but recent updates for Nikky apps started forcing Pixel launcher with no option to choose the launcher.
So to keep all the Google apps and features, I flash core + all the add-ons separately, avoiding Pixel launcher add-on. Then it comes up with CrDroid home automatically happy days!1
Running version 9.3 on my RN11 with fts_ts (ic2 1-0038) touchscreen. My RN10P has a goodix screen.1I am also curious of "are the files/devs the same as for the RN10P", since crDroid provides official ROM's for both phones. crDroid developers may be able to port the spes "fix" to the RN10P.

I really don't understand why so many people just say wipe everything and make a clean install. Even with backups of everything I still need 1 or 2 full days to completely redo all my system customizations and it's such an insane amount of work.2I had been using crDroid for about a year, I really like the ROM and I decided to do a clean install to version 9 (A13). Everything works including MTP, camera, bluetooth, wifi, hotspot.. I didn't find any problems in use, but... but there is a battery drain problem, the phone in airplane mode consumed 20% of the battery in 8 hours battery, while before with the same apps installed the consumption in this mode was about 3%, I hope that you will be able to have a good battery life even with this ROM because currently with moderate use of the phone, you are not even able to get to the end of the day with 5000mha of battery. I thank the developer for the excellent work done so far and I look forward to solving these problems.
Thank you!2Ok. Finally got Magisk working with banking and intune company portal app. Thank you @Laptapper for valuable hint.
2 3 things to remember.
If you are installing Magisk after installing all other apps, its good. You will see all apps you need to hide in Zygisk. BUT after installing Magisk,
1. Reboot your phone first.
2. DONT open anything. First open Magisk and hide it in settings.
3. Enable Zygisk and add apps in denylist there Eg banking apps, intune company portal etc.
4. Hide every google process (tip. Enable "Show system apps" and "Show os apps". Blindly hide all google process there).
5. Clear cache and storage of not only google but all the apps also which you have hidden in zygisk denylist. This may result in reconfigure the apps again like login again etc.
6. Reboot the phone again.
7. Now open all the apps and configure.
For Outlook and MS Team, delete and add the work account again.
Some feedback about new build of 23Dec.
Ok. Dirty flashed the new 23Dec build of this ROM over 17Dec build. Long press on home button still not working. I mean not doing anything.
Another issue which I found was Alarm was not working in 17Dec build.IIts working in 23Dec Build.
Another issue which I found is when you try to change the font from settings-- crdroid setting -- user interface -- font, it will only be applied to system settings and not to other areas like app drawer or whatsapp. In earlier version, changing fonts gets applied to all areas like app drawer and whatsapp also.
Touch is comparatively better than 17Dec build. Atleast in last 1 hour usages.
And that Battery drain issue is back. Lost 6% in 1 hour of usage. Lets monitor this for another week or two. Lets hope this 6% is only because of my usages.
