no, as long you dont wipe anything except cache and dalvik cache you wont lose your data.

I need a little bit of help here, firstly i flashed crdroid with twrp, installed magisk and now either magisk or the OS changes my recovery.

Also the battery life is awful i cant get more than 5 hours standby time or 2 3 hours screen on time, I've flashed the kernel suggested on this thread to no avail.

updates are not working. preparing for first boot finishes and than stays at 0%

Thanks a lot for this awesome ROM... runs very smoothly.

Got only one issue: some apps don't show the notifications in the top tray/bar (eg: Brave navigator).
Is that normal ? Is there any way to fix this ?
I tried many things in the app settings but nothing worked.

I recommend you flash xiaomi.eu fastboot rom first. Then use recommended crDroid flashing instructions.

Hello there, I just wanted to drop my thanks.
I have been a XDA lurker for years, and I've tested many ROMs in my lifetime, however I never registered.
Anyways after testing a couple I found this one, and it basically fills every item in my "needs list".
That is why i registered, to thank you so much for this. kSU works perfectly, it is so simple, and light that Ive completely replaced magisk.

I do however would like to point one thing out:
The ROM comes with these packages

com.android.hotwordenrollment.okgoogle
com.android.hotwordenrollment.xgoogle

Which considering this is a vanilla/non-gapps build seems a little weird. I do understand they are required to activate 'Ok Google', however it is still a little odd and if possible I would like to ask for removal. Most gapps packages come with both packages anyways, I do know for a fact NikGapps and BiTGapps do. So I really fail to see the point of including them.


I am not asking for support. It is rather easy to remove said packages, I'm just letting this known to see if it would be possible to get a fully de-googled build.

- fastboot boot skk twrp or orangefox and install when it boots
- reboot to recovery make sure it works
- flash firmware V14.0.7.0.TKHEUXM
- flash rom and reboot twrp
- flash nikgapps core or higher, flash magisk
- format
- boot system
- don't overthink it, if you mess up really bad just use xiaomi flash tool to get back to factory and start over

- boot recovery + install it : does it mean to "flash it " or to "inject ramdisk" ?
Also, as actual stock rom is A12, should'nt be issue with a A13 twrp ?? Has it been tried ?
- I'm not 'that overthinking' but as the FW is yet V13xxx on the phone, I'm a bit afraid after upgrading to roll back (if necessary) with xiaomi flash tool because of anti-roo back.. ??
- last thing, wich version of magisk has been tried, last one seems to have some 'big' changes ?? What to think about that new 'kernelsu' ? (I'm from the age of supersu...lol)

I did it as you mentioned and everything is working normally, the petal maps works without closing, I still have the problem with pubg mobile, when I turn on the phone it opens the normal game but if I close it from multitasking and open it again it only stays in color black and the game icon, I have to restart the device again. Still thanks for that information.

It's pretty much same thing as written in the steps:

1. Boot recommended A13 recovery
2. Flash recommended firmware if you haven't already
3. Flash new CrDroid version, before flashing select "Automatically reflash recovery"
4. Reboot to recovery (important so that phone can switch slots)
5. Flash the SAME gapps package you flashed previously
6. Flash Magisk if you use it
7. Flash DFE if you use it
8. Reboot to system

Note that you shouldn't do dirty flash if you already have bootloop. Do a clean flash first and on next release try dirty flash.

In the instructions it says about the clean flash:
boot recovery
flash Firmware (requirement V14.0.7.0.TKHEUXM) (skip if you are on this version)
flash crDroid (toggle auto flash twrp)

Can I flash this firmware (requirement V14.0.7.0.TKHEUXM) also for a clean flash if I am on crdroid?
Or do I have to flash the complete original ROM or can I also reflash crdroid with FORMAT DATA?
