updated today to crdroid 9.5 and i'm getting 15.4W charging speed at most, anyone experiencing the same?

The same situation here ~16W . Checked 2 chargers and cables

It seems that your ofox-recovery could not decrypt your data-partition and therefore it could not flash the kernel-zip! I am using skkk-recovery and had never problems with decrypting!

I succeeded with the new ofox version, so something wasn't right with the previous one.

Btw one last thing, i found something else that really worries me.

I do not trust Tencent at all, and upon googling it a little it seems the SoterServer is a payment platform in China. I guess it slipped since it is in /vendor, specifically in: /vendor/app/SoterService/SoterService.apk

Anyways if you do share my love for privacy please consider removing these files. And well once again, thank you for everything.

i'm not talking about the brightness bar, but rather slide across the status bar itself to adjust brightness, i know that crdroid 9.2 had it.

Have you guys timed it? just because the phone reports certain wattage does not mean that it is in fact charging at that wattage.

And secondly... why care? charging that fast will only stress more your battery.

Have not timed, trusting what is being displayed at the lockscreen. It shouldn't stress the battery since it's designed to do that. Phones now a day can handle as much as 125W (maybe more). Why care? because sometimes I only have 10 min to charge and leave the house, so yeah, 60% battery would be better than 30%.


edit.: Just to be clear, I'm not demanding anything, just asking if it's a thing that is happening to everyone and not just me (maybe i messed something?). Also, putting this on spot to be fixed. Again, that's the designed charging speed, so we should be able to get it.

To the Devs behind it, thanks so much for your work, It's been my daily rom for 2 years now. And thanks to the community for help and support as well !

Sure, things have gotten better. but the batteries are the same, chemically speaking not much has changed. the battery simply will heat more and its lifespan will be lower if you charge faster. this is fact.

I'm indeed using the original cable and charger. Same I used on 9.2 which I was getting 30W.

hold your finger on main screen - home settings -recents - clear all

i do have a câble with wattage display , it says its charging via power delivery at 15 watt tops exactly as the lockscreen info says with low margins of errors , ( even less than 15watt 45 % of the time for me approximately) , maybe because it's gets hot easily since the last update

and secondly ...., why doubt the validity of us caring ? we discussed about solving an issue that wasn't here before , that clearly we care about if we want it solved , whether your point is valid or not isn't the question you're just off topic.

It is not my intention to "attack you", I quite literally just want to know why it is that important to you, nothing but curiosity since in my use-case it is the opposite.

So question, when you install the rom, does it also install the kernal or do we have to update the kernal manually. Also dirty flash is just using recovery flash rom and gapps. Pretty much thats about it right.
