I am trying to flash this ROM but not successful. Flashing ROMs after long gap hence forgot the process :). My device was having Android 12 official MIUI ROM for India.
I followed the instructions as below
- Downloaded the latest Android 12 EU firmware from the link provided
- Downloaded Boot image from 3.4 folder
- Downloaded vendor boot from 3.1 folder as the same not available in 3.4 folder
- Downloaded Awaken. Zip from 3.4 folder
- I have unlocked bootloader
- flashed the boot.img and vendor boot.img from fast boot using command and I was successful
- when i gave reboot to recovery command my phone didnt boot into recovery but got stuck in MI logo and returned to fastboot. Tried the same process multiple times without success. Now I am in MIUI EU Android 13 ROM.

Pls anyone help if I am missing anything.
Should I be flashing a recovery file. If yes, what is the command and where can I find recovery please
Does this rom have call recording option without announcement pls?

Any help appreciated. Many thanks
Bro flash old pixel os boot.img

And try to install this rom... It will boot normally

I had to install the OS, then install the Magisk app and copy the boot.img file to the phone then use Magisk to manually patch the boot.img, copy that newly patched for 6 back to the PC, then replace the original boot.img with the patched one and then finally wipe and reinstall from scratch using the patched file
No need to wipe and reinstall the whole Rom for magisk to work. Just flash magisk patched boot image (the one that comes with the ROM files) in fastboot and reboot. You not loosing any data

Nice and stable rom so far, and it passes safetynet while other roms didnt catch up yet with recent changes on google side. I just flashed latest safetynet fix, and aplied denylist to wallet and playstore. One thing I noticed is that charging is quite slow, up to 15 wats with xiaomi charger. Automatic brightness seems to be a little to aggresive. And I can't get MIUI camera to work, I flashed various magisk modules- they all either hang or there is "can't connect to the camera error". Anx camera modules are deprecated, and you can end up with bootloop while playing with them.
Any suggestions?

You should get around 8-9 hours of video playback. If you use a lot of heavy processing, like gcam, downloading and installing apps or modules, you'll obviosly get less. So I would say you roughly get from 4 to 9 hourse SOT. I also disabled a lot of stuff that I don't need, to get some extra battery life, see the screenshots.

For anyone trying to get miui camera to work, flash the attached zip with magisk.
Where does this come from? Do you have a source for that? Everything is working but there seems to be a bug with slow motion videos: file attributes show 120/240fps but no video player or gallery shows the video in slow motion. It cannot be one of the players or the gallery apps because slow motion videos recorded by GCam get played fine.

I was using this camera module with Awaken, but I'm on PixelOs right now. All the basic features worked great for me, but probably I didn't even check timelapses. Somebody suggested me this module on telegram, it was the only one that worked at all. Maybe try to look for more answers on telegram groups, but it can be a hit and miss.

Thanks for the great ROM! Could you maybe provide a Vanilla Version for the updates, @saikiran001 ? I'm still running on 3.1 since I'm using MicroG and don't need GApps included. Also, do you think it's safe to dirty flash 3.6 on a 3.1 installation or have there been any major changes / firmware updates?
Best

Great stuff, thanks again for the good work. I'm still wondering whether there is a Vanilla version without Gapps?

I can confirm that the battery is draining fast and also in idle state. I literally charge my phone 2-3 times a day.
There is an annoying issue with the. Screen doesn't turn ON upon pressing power button. Only turns on after 4,5 button pressing. And it doesn't just happen occasionally. Happens all the time. Like literally 100 % of the time.
And if you have finger print setup, only unlocking sounds is heard and the screen doesn't turn ON.
I tried reflashing (that is all I know and can do as I'm not a developer) but, the issue persists
Before reporting this issue here I also tried to switch to another rom and switch back to awaken and the issue still persisted. So, from my side it is something that counts as a serious bug. Please look into this.

Secondly, power consumption on idle state is quite high. Went from 100 to 83 within whole night. Spotify was in background(in the recents) but, wasn't playing any music. It could be DC dimming because I turned it ON. But given that the phone's screen was off the whole night, DC dimming shouldn't matter much. Just thought you need to hear because power consumption also matters for most of us. Sorry for I couldn't provide screenshots of the battery stat so, my claims may seem invalid. I just can't go back to awaken just to take the battery stats because the first issue I mentioned is so annoying and prevents me from doing anything efficiently.

What are some of the advantages of using this rom instead of pixelOS? I mean both are based on stock android, but what are some of the differences?
    1
hey bro how did you fix it ?
I had to install the OS, then install the Magisk app and copy the boot.img file to the phone then use Magisk to manually patch the boot.img, copy that newly patched for 6 back to the PC, then replace the original boot.img with the patched one and then finally wipe and reinstall from scratch using the patched file
