My redmi 4x had the same issue with twrp recovery and updates, every update made it super frustrating. Thankfully 0xCAFEBABE fixed all of this problems for the 4x. Tried OrangeFox but it has the same problem. Is there any solution?

It's the default kernel built within my rom builds.
I just give an update in between on latest merges so flash-o-holics can flash this before I release a new rom build. No worries

Only thing I'm noticing is auto brightness isn't working is there a fix? Not complaining because everything else is amazing. Thank you

Hello! After installing newest update thru notification my phone is stuck on mi logo and its putting me into receovery mode. Is there anything i can do to fix this?

After installing gaaps and DFE its stuck on crdroid logo :/

Maybe you need to reflash Gapps.

Hi, thanks for your work
I came from an other rom and i'm on the PE recovery.

I did a format (factory reset) an installed the previous version and updated it yesterday.

So far so good - my annoying problem is, that some apps a closing after their start or on the specific points.
For example:
Chrome after app-start (maybe its running 0.2 seconds..)
Gmail: starts - open a mail -> crash
Even after i stopped the apps and/or deleted the cache/storage.

A phonerestart or a app reinstall helps.

A none-Google app is doing the same things..

I will try to install an other, bigger nikgapp package later.

I think there is a relation to gapps....

Or can someone tell me which settings i've to set in mathlog?

latest crdroid 9.5 + old ghost kernel is very smooth&faster for multitasking compared to stock kernel (no game and no oc screen). idle drain also seems good. screen off fod work 100%

I'm currently running latest build with Forced Encryption (FE) disabled but would like to change to FE. What would be best approach without losing data?

Is it possible to do a /data backup from TWRP/OrangeFox, install the ROM with full-wipe and restore /data after first boot?

Rom is quite great and beautiful. Thank you very much. The core has battery decapacitance but no super refresh rate. The mi9 is super 84hz stable, up to 90hz. I hope to have a core with hyperframe rate.
