Is it possible to downgrade without losing data? Latest firmware doesn't work very well with streamed video playing.

Thank you very much developers for bringing us Android 13 and November build, what I noticed at the beginning of installing the rom is that the phone gets too hot, after one use It slows down a bit, but sometimes it still uses a lot of system resources, you should thoroughly examine if it is a system process or something, since I only use it for one Lightweight, no games or other unnecessary software

Thank you for your work to give us the possibility of using Android 13. I will report back after 2 days of use, the installation is really simple, I did not encounter any particular problem except that the phone heats up . Over these 2 days of use, I can clearly see the difference between PixelOs and Pixel Experience. PixelOs has a few issues that could be fixed: 1: Excessive battery consumption. 2: Vibration to touch does not turn off on the home screen, you have to do more manipulation and restart the phone. 3: Slowing down the phone when browsing. Hoping that these corrections will be present in the next update. Thanks

I agree with your analysis but only for some slowdown during navigation to the point that I had to restart the system because no application was working anymore. for the consumption of the battery I have not found an excessive consumption. even today I have more than two hours of SOT with still 47% of charge left.
in any case the pixelexperience has not yet been released.

Comparisons are with Pixel Experience 12. (Official site).

For 3 days with PixelOS, when I use the applications for 10 minutes: youtube, internet browsing ect.. the phone heats up compared to Pixel experience 12.
The system in general is more battery intensive.

There are also slowdowns during navigation.

I currently use crDroid 8.11. My Mi 9 has only 64GB memory and "System" memory usage auf crDroid is only 3,3GB. I'd like to have Android 13, but: Has this version of PixelOS also a low memory usage?

I have found a probable problem, with the short-lived battery in our phones (screenshot). Does anyone know a remedy for this (maybe a zip package for recovery?).

If you are asking about RAM usage, my phone on PixelOS 13 uses 3,3 GB at the moment. Lots of apps installed with little tweaking of "battery optimization" option for battery hungry apps. As of storage i have 28 GB occupied right now, but it includes photos, videos, apps etc. so it's not indicative of anything :)

What a strangely coincidental value (2137) :D If you want to replace your battery you can search in Nohon official store on aliexpress. I have good experience with this brand. Buying "new" batteries on allegro or ebay can be risky. Personally after 3 years of usage, when my battery swelled I went to official repair shop. In Poland if you send phone for warranty repair it would end in "Cyfrowe Centrum Serwisowe" in Piaseczno. They use only original parts and out of warranty repairs are rather cheap. 2,5 years ago screen replacement was 520 PLN. 3 months ago battery replacement was 170 PLN. Nohon would be cheaper if you can replace battery yourself. People for whom I have replaced battery with Nohon (other Xiaomi models) are satisfied, but I did not test it thoroughly, because I don't use them as my daily drivers.

Hello everyone, february update is here!
Full source changelog is available at https://blog.pixelos.net/

    Changelog device side:

    - Add power off alarm support (Needs LineageOS/DeskClock, or an alarm clock which supports power off alarm)
    - Address more sepolicy denials
    - Change default FOD pressed color to cyan
    - Drop cpu affinity configs
    - Enable qcrild and data services instead of starting them
    - Inherit several Android Go configurations
    - Switch to OSS mtdservice and mlipay
    - Update telephony package list to LA.QSSI.12.0.r1-05600-qssi.0
    - Silence CamX and CHIUSECASE log spam
    - Switch to source built camera stack
    - Temporary remove MIUI Camera due to reported issues
    - Added Aperture camera with AUX support
    - Use AOSP USB v2 audio HAL
    - Add some missing IMS blobs
    - Updated F2FS from Linux 6.2
    - Merge CodeLinaro LA.UM.9.1.r1-13100-SMxxx0.QSSI13.0 tag
    - Upstream kernel to 4.14.305 and compile it with playground clang 17

About MIUI Camera, it will hopefully return in next updates, i have removed it for now due to broken autobrightness after using the camera, and camera going full black randomly (which forcefully needs reboots). Once I fix these issues, I'll include it again. Safetynet is fixed as well. Hope y'all likes the update :).

PS: Something i forgot to mention, Camera ids has been udpdated:
0 for main/wide, 1 for front, 2 for telephoto, 3 for ultra wide.
I mention this just in case GCams or any mod doesn't recognize properly the other cameras.

Liked my work? Buy me a coffee 😉☕

Would you have a link for that?

If once installed it not detects tele and wide lens, you must set its id manually: 20 for tele and 21 for wide in additional settings, and remeber to set the show camera buttons option. And if slomo does not work just delete app data and start again.

Shamin's always working in my case in Mi 9.
    3
Hi @danitco can you tell us if that setup that you mentioned are applied on the below screen?

For example where you see Wide Lens should be 21x and Tele Lens should be 20x?

    Thank you :)
Here is how I have it.

Guys @balgxmr this room is CRAZY GOOD! Gosh, I have installed yesterday and guys! I'm really impressed...I'm coming from the A12 from the Project Elixir, and I was quite satisfy but this PiselOS that you have developed is just BRUTAL :) :)!

Some feedback so far...battery performance the best that I have seen from different rooms...OS performance really good, better than the MIUI and Project Elixir...Wallet working and a big PLUS! You can setup your Work Profile, gosh, this is to good to be true!

This room made feel like...I will change my mi 9 battery on a official store, and I already order a new transparent back glass case and I'm ready to have a brand new fresh mi 9 v.2023 :)! Thank you guys for your amazing job, really appreciate and you deserve it! So far the best room out in the market for mi 9 :)! congrats for the whole team

hi :) the latest update is super. I am very grateful for your work. I have one comment. There are many firmware for cepheus, where you can change the color of the FOD. I have tested a lot and on all ROMs the scanner works terribly if the color is different from green. with the latest update PixelOS changed the color of the scanner, my scanner now works terribly. the fingerprint is determined once out of fifteen. I can't even add a new fingerprint now. although it worked perfectly with the green light.

I don't know exactly what this is related to. but I think it may work differently on different devices. someone is better, someone is worse. Maybe it's worth adding a color picker?

p.s. safety net passes the check. gpay is working. thanks

upd. I deleted all the fingerprints, rebooted the phone. added two new fingerprints of the same finger. I didn't manage to do it the first time. but now it seems to be working. I can't say that it works better than it was. but now it has worked as it should.

    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM

    Hello everyone!
Sorry that I haven't updated XDA. I fixed link of super_empty.img, which was deleted before. Thanks to Rakib Hasan for pointing it out.

Also, I've been working on PixelOS A13, don't ask for ETA, but all I can say is that device side is ready (Thanks to Evasi0nXiao for trees). I'm just waiting for source and release.
Clean flash for a13 will be mandatory so prepare your backups xD.

Edit: about the <no sound while charger is plugged> issue, will be gone for A13 so don't worry.

Here you can read more about PixelOS A13!

Hope y'all have a nice day!
