Hello,
Do you guys get good speaker sound during music play back or when watching videos?
Is there specific settings?
This is the only thing that holds me back.

I'll appreciate a guide towards this.

Kind regards,

hello, I installed it and tested it for a few days, it was quite good, but!!! there are a few things that are not tested in it, for example the camera that I would highlight is something brutally bad, in all these years the developers did not manage to put the camera in the same situation as in the factory rom? it's simply unusable, it takes ugly pictures, it saves the pictures rotated all the time, etc... is that all aosp can do on a 4-year-old phone?

Which camera (stock or g-cam) has been used in this ROM?

And is there any issue regarding VOI/ VOLTE/VoWIFI ?

My device is Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ (Exynos)

I have installed the latest version, but my phone keeps restarting randomly without any pattern. Are there others experiencing the same issue as me?

Hello friends!

I have a couple of doubts about the ROM, I just installed pixelOS w/ A13 in a Xiaomi note 8 and the UX is so good that I miss the Note 8 when using my Note 10+.

So, I'm asking this before installing, so I can avoid missing features that I use on a daily basis:
- Does Samsung Dex work?
- Does Samsung Notes work?
- Is there any problem with the S pen?
- Can I use Samsung Wallet?
- Does the camera work with the same quality?
- What about battery life?

I hope y'all are having a good day!

Thanks in advance!

Let's see how I can help you with your questions :)

Unfortunately since this is pixel rom and not samsung then samsung dex isn't included as it wouldn't work.

Again unfortunately samsung notes won't work since it's pixel rom and it isn't compatible with non samsung roms.

When it comes to s-pen it will work to navigate with or take a pictures etc but you won't see drop downs etc it's just simple basic s-pen features.

Samsung wallet isn't compatible and is unlikely to work again because this isn't samsung rom but Google pay works so maybe you could use that as alternative.

Camera is just a basic camera app so you won't get everything that comes with samsung but it will do to take fairly decent images/videos.

Battery life is okay depending on how you use it, at max I would say you can easily get 1 day out of it for lite/medium use and it does come with Kprofiles to help with battery life.

I have been with multiple roms and so far this rom doesn't drain it as much as the other roms do.

Hopefully this somewhat gives you little help on deciding what to do next.

Hello,
Thanks for the good feedback.
Kindly help: how is the speaker sound? it was bad on most of the roms for this phone.

Kind regards,

Helios guys, nice rom but...

Pixel launcher is tricky, when using dinamic icons the phone gets really hot and drains battery like crazy.
System does not change colors based on wallpaper unless you install repainter and use it with system engine.
I'm using GCam as camera and is really great.
The ROM is fluid and I really like A13 UI.

That's it for now, have a great day

Hello @zeule,
Thanks for the good feedback.
You mean if one does not use dynamic icons and no need for system color based on wallpaper everything is ok? that it doesn't heat up and drain battery?
How is the speaker sound/audio during media playback? was bad days back.

I'll appreciate the feedback.

Kind regards,

PixelOS is an AOSP based ROM, with Google apps included and all Pixel goodies (launcher, wallpapers, themed icons, google sans fonts, Monet color based system wide theming, boot animation).

    Code:
/* Your warranty is now void.

    * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.

Seems interesting. But can you give more details on how to install?
Do I flash the provided recovery, and then use the recovery to flash the rom and magisk stored on a memory card?

Or do I play everything on the memory card and flash the recovery using TWRP, then enter recovery and install the rom?

Managed to install with PE Recovery. Brilliant ROM. Works flawlessly and battery life has been stellar. Can't wait for the colour profiles to be added and for the Google fonts to go system wide and then it will be absolutely brilliant. Only issue I have found so far:
Display sizing is not working properly. You have to use Smallest Width.
    1
Disable microphone permissions for the Google app....should be fine after that....
