Just wanted to thank the developers for great work. I had been on Xiaomi.eu, but wanted something with more frequent updates. Banking apps working fine, and what seems to be a comparable camera to stock.

On latest version Jan 14 , having trouble with Bluetooth audio on apps like Spotify, apple music to send audio to headphones, tried to disable the a2dp and restart but it's not working

hi & thanks a lot for this awesome rom.
I'm using it relatively google free with microg revived and it looks fantastic.
however I got two issues.
car bluetooth is broken and that's a known bug.
and the second one I noticed today is that the dialer doesn't pop-up somethimes at incoming calls - it only rings, so I'm using the google dialer until the next release.
oh and a minor thing is the wetter widget only displays in english with the wrong time, one hour behind here (CET).

Are you using gapps version?. I updated from the version of 20 of december to the 14 of january and the bluetooth problem was fixed (or at leat i can connect to the car and headphones trough A2DP), I'm using the gapps version and wipe Dalvik and cache.
yes im using the gapps version, did a clean install wipe data, dalvik cache, still no luck with music on Bluetooth other sounds from phone work.
EDIT: i dirty flashed the same ROM and my bluetooth was fixed! all good now , Great ROM!

I think I also have the same issue with receiving calls. When a call comes through, it comes up as a notification, rather than full screen, and I have to swipe down to select the call.hi & thanks a lot for this awesome rom.

been using since December SparkOS rom, I'm finding it good, excellent for daily use.
i needed the magisk module to activate call recording, which doesn't always work.
You need to keep disabled "Mi Sound Enhancer" for bluetooth audio.
I've updated from December release to January release without clean and without problems.

The date and weather appear on the home page, if I click on weather I see the forecast correctly, if I click on the date it doesn't open the calendar, is it normal or do I have to activate a link?

Great rom! One thing I noticed: I checked the band options and didn't find an option to use only the 2G band. Would it be possible to implement it?

Stock MIUI user here... Thinking to jump to this ROM. Currently I am currently running firmware v13.0.7. v14.02.2 just became available for my device. My question is, in order to install the latest SparkOS release (230230114), which firmware version shall I have flashed previously? v13 or v14? I ask this because when the last SparkOS build was released, firmware v13 was the latest one for my region.
Latest v13 is your safe bet. Everything works flawlessly, except Bluetooth audio shenanigans. flashing on top of latest v14 is still untested as for now.

2Same here. Dirty flashed through TWRP though. No audio from BT. This also happens when plugging the wired headphones. And to make it worse, when unplugging them the audio stops coming from the phone too, and only the ringtone and alarm sounds work (this does not happen after disconnecting the BT headphones; phone audio works then). A reboot restores the audio functions of the phone.
Everything was working fine on v.13.5. Could we dirty flash that version? Swapping boot slots on TWRP does nothing (phone does not boot to be exact).On a side note, while on wired headphones, I tried to play a video on YT, there was no audio as mentioned, but there was a constant "on-off" output on the headphones (like plugging/unplugging the wire) and the playback stops every second.1

1I didn't change a thing. guess google fixed it in their aosp source code and sparkos used the latest source code.113.5.5 causes the fingerprints to reset so phone can't be unlocked via fingerprint as well as apps that require a authentification via fingerprint
13.5.5 causes Audio issues in form of slight cracking noise when watching videos and switching from one video to another like in the YouTube app or when watching a video and playing a game simultaneously

This is not a problem for me.
Did you look out to switch the MAC address option? The default here is to use a randomized MAC every time you try to connect, therefore it asks every time for a password. You can set it to per-network randomized or just use the device MAC and it should work fine. just have to "edit" the settings for that specific network.2Flashed new build (dirty flash).
I am surprised because slow motion mode (960fps/720p) works great with MIUI camera. I didn't manage to get it working on any gcam before. However 64mpx mode causes strange kind of crash - I am getting notification in MIUI camera about not available camera. I cannot switch to other mode except removing app cache.
Not sure whether it's related with dolby configs, but YouTube ReVanced seems to work better. It doesn't crash now with higher amount of patches, before I used only options to keep YouTube in background while playing music and removing general ads.
Also, there is still issue with ability to disable permament notification-bar from Mi Notify app, which shouldn't be possible.

2Hello, I noticed that new build is up, so Inform these curious of you without Telegram. I just dirty flashed and... I have feeling that front camera photos looks worse on artifical lightning - both gcam and pre-built MIUICam. the photos are less clear and there are lines like in a person with astigmatism. It's strange, because I didn't notice it before and sometimes in this place under this light I used the front camera.
Allso I needed to reflash Magisk in OrangeFox separately (in Magisk Manager I was getting error with my magisk.img) and then reinstall YouTube ReVanced and re-patch it again (edit: I noticed that YouTube was downgraded to older version and it caused incompatibilities).
Strange. I hope AoD will work better now as stated below.
