13.5.5 causes the fingerprints to reset so phone can't be unlocked via fingerprint as well as apps that require a authentification via fingerprint

13.5.5 causes Audio issues in form of slight cracking noise when watching videos and switching from one video to another like in the YouTube app or when watching a video and playing a game simultaneously

still looking forward to the future reworked build that has the big march security update included
For anyone having the same issues as I had this is how I fixed it might work for you as well so give it a shot.

I installed latest Global Firmware V14.0.2.0.TLMMIXM (released on 23.03.2023) via latest Orangefox recovery (R11.1_2_A12) and wiped cache and dalvik/Art after flashing the firmware afterwards rebooted to system and voila the issues are gone

Am I the only one that experiences random freezes? (Usually once a day)
So far no freezes for me (thankfully) I am using the Rom in combination with no gravity kernel (ngk) if you haven't try flashing ngk and see if theres an improvement.

As a last resort if ngk won't solve the issue i would do a clean install of the Rom as suggested in the op of thread (titled coming from a different from)

I was wondering if it's possible to disable daylight time savings or change the UTC offset manually (instead of choosing a region). The problem is that I live in Iran and usually at this time of year the clocks are advanced by 1 hour which they decided not do this year.
So my phone's not showing the correct time.
Also setting the time manually is not a viable option as well because it breaks several other things.

This issue has been discussed in the Google, Samsung and Huawei Forums and the consensus is to wait for another os update that fixes this particular issue. Sadly there's nothing left but to be patient.
You might get lucky and there's a dev that is able to make a magisk module for your particular issue just head over to the xda magisk section and do a request

You may try to disable 'set time zone automatically', then click 'time zone', click the 3 dots above and select UTC offset as desired.

Yes that is exactly what I mean
Can you guess which any event could cause this? E.g. mods, modifying system files with root or what? The only thing that comes to my mind are to install Magisk and then ViPER4AndroidRepackaged.

Maybe YouTube Revanced too. But before it was always removed by system after a reboot and now works perfectly. Do you have these apps?

I did not change in my system in any other way.

I only have Youtube Revanced but it seems a bit strange to me that it could cause a complete freeze of the system.
I am no expert tho

Thanks for the rom.

It works fine except for the huge battery drain unfortunately. The phone never goes into deep sleep (0min). Can someone help me with that?

I have looked into it with Better Battery Stats. The Partial Wakelock that seems to be the reason for that is called PhoneWindowManager.mPowerKeyWakeLock (responsible for ~80% of all wakelocks). The count increases by 1-4 wakelocks every time I turn off and then turn on the screen. I can also use display double tap gestures to turn off and on the screen (i.e. without pressing the power button). However, the problem persists. I tried to disable the power button mappings, but there is no option to disable the long press which is either mapped to the power menu or the Google Assistant.

Does anyone have any idea what I could try to solve the deep sleep issue?

I have adb access set up but the phone is not rooted. I am using Spark-13.5.5-Official-munch-20230318-gapps.zip

Thanks.

The quick settings tiles are bugged. When I make changes to the order or remove some tiles then the original tiles in the original order are still present, i.e. the changes are not saved. Resetting doesn't work as well.

I noticed this because suddenly the order of my tiles was changed without me doing any changes. I guess this problem has to do with the use of multiple profiles.

I'm trying to figure if I can enable notification banners at all times. I think this is not a SparkOS specific thing because I have seen it in MIUI as well and tried to fix it there but couldn't. What I mean is if I'm not in Telegram and receive a message I will see a banner (idk what they're actually called really, I think they are called banners in iOS) at the top of my screen but if I'm in Telegram and I receive a message I can only see Telegram's icon in the status bar and there are no banners or previews.
Sorry for the vague explanation

What are your Screen Off battery usages?

    Mine is between 2.0%/h - 3.4%/h.
the same (approx 2.5% last time I checked), bluetooth always ON (mi band 5), AOD enabled during day.
Which app do you use to detect?

    Better Battery Stats.
    Thread here.
    Download link here.
Or if you want to support dev on Google Play for $1.99.

    Try different kernel.

    Try different kernel.
Trying different kernel has no effect. Mine issue is so severe that the OS has started freezing inside a min after booting.

I think it has something to do with the app permissions or root. I tried using the stock rom before setup for some time, & had no issues until I started using my usual apps.

    LOS device tree problem?
btw send this logs to crdroid topic, or dev
Thanks for your suggestion. I have the EXACT SAME PROBLEM on SparkOS as well, so thought of posting here as well.

    [ROM][13.0][UNOFFICIAL/OFFICIAL] SparkOS [AOSP][STABLE][11/10/2022]

    intro.jpg

SparkOS is an AOSP based ROM, packed with many features without sacrificing stability and performance.
In short a fully functional operating system as stable and customizable as it should be.

    Code:
/* Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
    */

    Device Specific Issues:
    • None found during my testing

    Requirements
    • Latest Global Firmware

    Downloads
Get the latest SparkOS Build for munch Download
    Firmware https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/munch/

    Notes
    • Encryption is enabled by default

It seems to be the most optimized among the Android 13 chrome installations. The camera is also close to miui genuine, thank you so much.

This bug still exist after I flash lasted build.

    I'll try other rom instead...
This is not a problem for me.
Did you look out to switch the MAC address option? The default here is to use a randomized MAC every time you try to connect, therefore it asks every time for a password. You can set it to per-network randomized or just use the device MAC and it should work fine. just have to "edit" the settings for that specific network.
