I've just installed this rom, it's buttery smooth. Love it! Just one thing, and I hope someone can help.

WiFi works, but data on cell network doesn't. I've set my API (deleted the one that was "there" and followed instructions by my sim-provider, Simpel in The Netherlands). Unfortunately... Still no data connection. All parameters furthermore should be correct / switched on.

Solved. Made a new API and it's working. I've got another problem though. GPS doesn't work. All settings seem correct, wifi and bluetooth scan are enabled, all apps are not optimized where it comes to battery, but the GPS just doesn't lock / actually it does nothing. It worked before when I was on Android 10 stock rom.

Anyone with any ideas? What am I overlooking?
I've been on stock rom since the beginning (unlocked and rooted) , about a month ago I installed AOSP and everything works as it should. GPS is the same as before. maybe try a clean install again. (used NikGapps Omni).

I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, it feels insanely smooth, battery life is incredible. Feels like a new device.

But I'm unsure if I flashed it correctly (specially GAPPS) as I'm having the following issues:
  • On Device Speech Recognition won't download languages for offline recognition
  • GPS hardly ever is able to get a lock (but I'm suspectibg it could be a hardware issue)
  • Could not find an option to use the hardware buttons, only gestures and on-screen buttons
  • Can't edit images on Google Photos, it hangs forever when I click on the edit button
  • Android Auto does not connect
  • Couldn't get Gcam working, the viewfinder lags a lot
  • Netflix won't work (I've read about this issue before, but couldn't understand how to fix it)

I believe most of these issues are caused by improper flashing, so I don't want to try to fix them as is, I want to start over.

Can someone point me in the direction for a proper clean flash, regarding the following points?
  • Flashing the ROM itself (just to be sure)
  • Flashing GAPPS
  • Flashing Magisk and passing SafetyNet
  • Installing Gcam (Which apk, which configs, etc)
  • Any other tips and mods would be appreciated

I don't use gcam, but the procedure seems fine. Just flash all the zips without ever rebooting the device in between flashes.

On OP5, the hardware buttons are enabled by default. Manually enabling gestures will disable hardware buttons, so to get hardware buttons working, just disable gestures.

I can't get GPS to work on Google Maps. I think GPS doesn't work. In the other things I do not find failure, it goes very fluid.

Hello, I have a problem, I can't enable voice match on Google Assistant, the option to enable Hey Google is grayed out and can't be enabled. Do someone else have the same problem or a solution to it?

    AOSP for OnePlus 5/5T - Android 13
    Code:
    /*
    * Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it!
    */

Most of the information from here can be applied for this ROM.
    Introduction

    Screenshot_20220817-220930.png

This projects aims to create an upgradable AOSP build system for the Oneplus 5 (Cheeseburger).
No repository from AOSP is changed: no commit over AOSP is at the moment present on the sources for this ROM.

All the changes are provided in separate repositories (HALs, kernel): this allows to upgrade Android with minimal effort, potentially also for future major versions.

Most of the added repositories is provided by LineageOS or CAF, so thanks to them for those repos.

    Screenshots are attached.

This ROM is based on the work on Android 12 from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-12-1-oneplus-5-5t-aosp-for-oneplus-5-07-july-2022.4343441/

As usual, only builds with enforcing SELinux, no root access and 'user Android build flavor' will be posted here.

    Known issues

    None that I'm aware.

    Changelog

    See second post.

    Download

Releases can be found on SourceForge:
    OnePlus 5 (Cheeseburger): : https://sourceforge.net/projects/aosponeplus/files/Cheeseburger_OTA_A13/
    OnePlus 5T (Dumpling): :
    https://sourceforge.net/projects/aosponeplus/files/Dumpling_OTA_A13/

Old: releases can be found on AndroidFileHost.
    OnePlus 5 (Cheeseburger): https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=335703
    OnePlus 5T (Dumpling): https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=335704

    Installation

    Backup everything.
The provided zip can be installed using the TWRP recovery: clear data while doing that.

The ROM expects the firmware from OOS 10.0.1: different firmwares are not tested.

GApps are not available for Android 13 yet (for what I know).

The provided recovery allows only flashing signed images: use TWRP if you need to flash GApps or different packages.
