Hi guys, I faced the following problems:
1. Pixel Launcher in the background mode burns a lot of 30%-40%, because of this phone charge is not enough for a long time
2. Some applications, such as Telegram does not determine that my default theme is Dark.
3. The phone heats up a lot while charging.
P.S. I did a clean installation with all wipes, after installation I cleaned the data Pixel Launcher - did not give any result, all the same burns a lot of percent

Hi guys, I faced the following problems:

I have the same issue as first one here, tried all the following with no luck, the active battery drain seems fine by me, but for me I still find 2.X%/h of idle battery drain most of the time, according to the AccuBattery App I've used for days.

• Clean flashed the R.O.M. properly from O.O.S. 12.1.
• Disabled "Search the web" in Pixel Launcher settings.
• Uninstalled updates of the Android System Intelligence (A.S.I.) and re-installed it from the Google Play Store.

As far as I'm concerned, it seems there's issues with either the Pixel Launcher or A.S.I. right now (I could be wrong, if this is not the cause feel free to enlighten me).
Disabling A.S.I. might help but then the weather will stop showing on the home screen and lock screen which I prefer not to.
Other than that, can't do anything with battery drain until Google/Devs/Maintainer fixes it.
That's the only major issue for me on the latest February release, otherwise it's stable.

January PE update fixed allmost all the bugs for me so I'm somewhat iffy to install the Feb update.

I just flashed my GM1917 (originally t-mobile GM1915) running the stock GM1917_11_H.37 build to the 'PixelExperience_Plus_guacamole-13.0-20230227-1130-OFFICIAL' build. Nice ROM!

Since I was on the latest build for my region, I did not flash to H.38 firmware and went directly to the flash recovery step

fastboot flash boot PixelExperience_Plus_guacamole-13.0-20230227-1130-OFFICIAL.img

The only difference between the H.37 and H.38 (India only) firmware is the abl.img file (of the17 image files that are designated 'firmware'. I did notice that the PE+ rom includes the abl.img file from H.38.

My device now identifies as a GM1911. Is that an issue?
Google Assistant reports this device as a Pixel 5, but Google Play identifies this device (under app compatibility) as a GM1911.

One minor issue-

Intermittently, from the AOD screen, while sleeping??-

a) tapping (single/double) is unresponsive
b) touching the FP area will generate a 'press firmly on the sensor' prompt but will not trigger the FP sensor.

When the device is in this state, the power button must be pressed.

Всем привет, извините что пишу на русском, я пользуюсь pixel experience на OnePlus 7 pro около 3 месяцев, и мне нравится все больше и больше с каждым обновлением, спасибо вам огромное, у меня проблема, которая не решилась до сих пор, моя сеть 4г при поездке или при ходьбе, пропадает и не ловит ничего, телефон не ловит сеть и не работает интернет, единственный способ вернуть интернет это включить авиарежим и выключить нужно подождать несколько секунд и все заработает опять, но очень раздражает то что, иногда сеть пропадает часто, и нужно постоянно включать и выключать авиарежим, так же хочу отметить, что функция пиксель которая позволяет копировать текст, работает только на английском тексте, спасибо

I noticed that the notification area or quick settings stay in dark mode after switching the design to light mode. Do I miss some settings or is it a bug in PE?

Edit: I installed LSposed and AOSP Mods which includes the option to switch the quick settings to light mode (and it adds the missing "close all" button to the task manager too). Still wondering why Pixel Experience doesn't have these features. Sadly the power menu isn't affected by this setting and looks somehow broken.

No it is not a bug, that is what it is on a stock Pixel phone no matter if you are using Dark Mode or not.

I am on the Feb update. I have locked the Google Phone to the base version (v86.2.468) of the ROM using UpdateLocker Xposed module.

I want to update it to v94.X, which is the last version which does not give call recording announcements. Manually sideloading an update doesn't work seamlessly, as there's always a message on launch along the lines of "the version is not supported ...".

Is there any other way to officially update to v94.X and not any further?
