hi does anyone know HOW to revert to oos 11.0.9.1 or older from pixel experience 13?

I had pixel experience 12 and somehow managed to revert, and 1) don't remember how i did it 2) can't revert using few methods found online.

i did check if my computer sees my phone -> cmd using fastboot devices gives me my device, so my laptop sees it.

first of all i tried msm tool from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...l-to-restore-your-device-to-oxygenos.3994835/

tried hd65ba (europe) and hd65aa (global) and neither works.

msm tool doesn't recognize/find my phone when i'm in fastboot mode. i have drivers cos I installed PE13, also did revert some time ago so they're in the system. When i'm in fastboot mode, device manager sees android bootloader device or something like this.

i also tried a method i used when i was installing PE13, so downloaded image from oneplus site and tried to use payload dumper to extract image, and in result it gave me like 30 files. also 10.0.8.1 gave me a lot of files too (PE13 was like 10-12 or something).

also downloaded image from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/oneplus-7t-rom-ota-oxygen-os-repo-of-oxygen-os-builds.3997037/ but result was the same.

also downloading drivers from this post https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ice-to-oxygenos.3994835/page-17#post-87483763 didn't help msm tool to find my phone.

//edit: ok I found what mistake I've done. i didn't have to go to fastboot mode, just press volume down + up (without power button) and then plug phone. everything seems to work fine, phone is recovering to stock right now.

What @HueyT said, the process you described is reverting to stock via an MSM tool in EDL mode. Glad you got it sorted out. Keep those files, btw, as they can also save you from a brick as long as you can boot into either fastboot or EDL.

I am not that experienced in installing custom roms. I've installed like only one or two custom roms on a samsung and MI phone. I tried installing this pixel experience rom on my Oneplus 7t but after I Unlocked the bootloader and went into fastboot mode and tried booting into the pixel experience recovery it wouldn't boot, it just said oneplus logo and Fastboot mode and was stuck on that. I even tried TWRP recovery but that didn't work also. Is there any way to fix this?

Hello Everyone,

New builds for android 13 are up on official website

Please note that this is still in BETA, so there will be some minor UI/ Glitches and bugs will be there.

Changelogs:
  • Updated to October security patch
  • Updated gapps
  • Fixed crash when enabling Live Captions
  • Performance and minor bug fixes
  • Fixed device model detection (which should fix issues with L1 for some people)
  • Fixed some carrier settings were crashing
* Note: Dirty flashing is fine from previous 13 builds, no need to clean flash if you're already on PE 13

how to flash from the previous pe13 ?
ota update going to be available sometime?
how to keep magisk?

edit:
before update i payload dump
got the new boot.img
patched with magisk
reboot to recovery
adb sideload filename.zip
reboot to bootloader
fastboot flash boot magisk_patched_xxx.img
and reboot

does it matter that i magisk patched the new boot.img before the update on the older rom?

You're definitely correct, though if you're rooted, I would advise that instead of flashing the patched boot.img, boot it instead (for safety's sake, you could say), then proceed to root from there if it's successful.

Once an OTA or local update method is added, it's just a matter of installing the update, then reinstalling Magisk to the inactive slot before rebooting, as the usual.

ok next time i ll reboot to new rom and patch it there LATER
this time i did it as i wrote and worked fine

yes thats why i prefer ota updates, much easier to keep magisk

1) can i add an advanced reboot menu? recovery etc
2) can the LTE show LTE+ when connected to more bands? or even the bands?
3) will ota update be added in stable ones from the next month?
4) what does plus offer more?

    Google backup is safest.
Don't rely to heavyily on Google backup! When I got my display replaced, I had to wipe my phone to send it in for repair. Afterwards, I was unable to recover from my backup. I could see it listed, but I couldn't select it for restore. So I lost lot's of messages and some other stuff. I didn't find any explanation or workaround when searching the web. You will find several posts all over the web regarding this issue.
So I do extra backups now, eg using MyPhoneExplorer.

Whoever is facing lag or battery drain and heat, please try below things

The Pixel launcher is the culprit as of now, just do following things:

    Clear android system intelligence data,
    Force stop pixel launcher,
    Reboot the phone.

Make sure you have wiped data while upgrading from the previous version.

Also you can get the latest kernel updates from here:

To install the new kernel update

    Reboot to recovery,
    ADB sideload zipfile,
    Reboot

Hello everyone, the November update is here

OOS12 Firmware is required. This is the first build based on OOS12. So you might find some bugs or minor issues as well. Feel free to report them with the logs.

    Installation Guide 1 (preferred method)
    1. Install OOS 11 via fastboot and keep boot loader unlocked
    2. Update to OOS12 on both slots
    3. Flash PE Recovery
    4. ADB sideload the ROM
    5. Wipe the data
    6. Reboot
    Installation Guide 2
    1. Make sure you’re on any PE version
    2. Flash PE Recovery
    3. Reboot to recovery
    4. ADB sideload the ROM
    5. Wipe the data
    6. Reboot

This update already includes the OOS 12 firmware. But if you still want to be sure then extract the firmware from latest OOS12 and flash all the images. Flashing firmware guide can be easily obtained from online or telegram group channel
