Hi

Does anyone else happen to have the camera freeze when you activate 60 fps?

To temporary solve this i deactivated the automatic brightness.
When i do it the capture the bad effect dont showing in the screenshot.
Thanks to everyone can help, or Rashan to make a bugs correction.
This is because devs keep opting to use the 12 firmware. it has issues across all regions. almost all roms will have this issue with the hd1907, no matter what region you have it flashed if it's updated to oos12. the only one that stuck with a stable version is paranoid android. it works flawlessly and you don't have to mess with firmware as it includes what is needed. sorry to redirect OP.

I have an HD1907 and I had OOS10 Global and I decided to test the rom, and I found two bugs related to the screen.

1 - if you use biometrics to unlock the screen, the brightness is at maximum and does not return to normal, but by deactivating this function and using only the PIN, nothing unusual happens.

2 - When using the Smooth Display the color range changes depending on the Hz, when at 90 the colors are more vivid and when it drops to 60 they are a little darker.

So turns out it isn't just the 12 update (unless this rom automatically flashes 12 firmware. If not, i assume it's a framework issue with 12/13.

If firmware 12 has so many bugs, what advantages does it bring, what pushes developers to use it?
you should see the amount of people in oneplus forums that are completely stock that want to roll back to 11 from 12 on ALL variants. i assume devs use 12 as a base because as far as i know, only the hd1907 variant has the issues. i assume they overlook it since the rest of the world is other variants that don't have these issues. majority rules? and probably because it just happens to be the newest with more band support and whatnot.
paranoid android have firmware 11 android
EDIT: i'm not sure how to explain why it is having the same issues. i also tried lineage 18 and 19 which i assume is based on older fw. same issues. apparently, it's just something with the hd1907, firmware aside. different framework requirements that other variants, perhaps?

maybe with hd1907 model since it was designed for t-mobile in USA, there could be some thing there .where as other models dont have the issues.i like my hd1907 even though its been converted over to global version of oxygen os and will probably get flashed to a rom in due time as its no longer my main driver and my s21 plus is .

(Is there a way to change the battery icon? Tried searching on my own within the device and this thread indeed.)

Nevermind .... got it.

Perhaps I am just blind but is there a way that I can have access to the internal storage? I am trying to make an app a system app but it tells me I have no room for it. I have magisk installed as well

It's not just you, that's one of the bugs I dislike the most in this ROM... 😕
HD1905, non rooted here. Long time developer, rarely a thread poster.

I also do not recommend using this rom, as it currently stands.

The people who are presenting this, should discontinue the rom until they do the research and fix all the more massive and damaging issues.

As it sits now, I consider this rom to be harmful to the health of our device, and degrades the healthy experience it should have. Not to mention it is destroying our battery and probably some other hardware.

At the very least, the OP should have ALL issues clearly marked as a massive warning: Charging, battery percentage jumps, drain, heat, auto brightness, Massive performance drops and lags due to the device reacting to the heat, Bluetooth ETC.

OP says, "Bugs? You tell me!" Well we tell you and they are still not listed!

Battery drops by multiple numbers at a timex. Example: I was watching YouTube and it was 15%....before my very eyes it dropped to 11%.

Battery sometimes says it's not charging while plugged in, and sometimes is indeed not charging. Sometimes it is charging. Who knows unless they sit there and watch it....or turn it off to charge.

Sound is very low, wavelet app helps sometimes.

Bluetooth has issues and disconnects randomly with some devices. Sometimes even forgets it was paired and I have to go re-pair the device.

Auto brightness is very choppy. Adjusts in jumps instead of smooth transitions.

Auto brightness also reacts to screen brightness. Example: you are watching a show or movie, and there is a bright or dark scene....auto brightness will adjust. This sometimes makes watching media on say Amazon video an annoying experience to say the least! It will also happen when you switch from a darker app to one that has lighter brighter colors. Also very annoying.

The over night drain while device is OFF is a nightmare! From 50-60% down to 20-10%, sometimes more, is SCARY!!!

Idk how this ever became official. The massive battery drain and HEAT generated is awful!! 1-1.5 amps while not doing anything? I only have 3 apps installed.

Right now as I type this, and have all other apps stopped, device is using 1.1amps. Roughly 200-350ma is a normal amount for this device for the tasks it is currently doing. That is a 4-6x more power draw than is normal for this device! Granted, new OS, new power requirements. That is still amazingly high.

Devices battery stats show no hint at what is doing this. Doesn't even seem to know it is happening!

The massive heat generated by this rom is also a major performance deterrent. Games and apps throttle because the device is so hot. Creating a terrible experience in that aspect.

Pixel experience in general these days seems to have a battery drain issue, but other device devs have mostly figured it out.

Tried rom for 3 weeks, all issues persisted the entire time. Thought I'd write this post, while still using the rom before moving on.

Now you may ask, did diz follow the instructions to the T while installing this rom? Answer is....YES. 3 times, in fact because I couldn't believe how bad this is.

*Disabling android system intelligence alleviated a portion of the battery drain and heat, but as this is a function of the OS it is not ideal.
Same goes for Private Compute Services.
Some say messing with Google play services helps a tiny bit also.

"Fixes" should also be posted in OP or in their first few posts. Especially if it's a "fix" that helps continually over multiple builds/releases of said rom.

Is it just me or is the speaker output low?

I absolutely agree with you, and I appreciate that you have listed all the faults. In my case, I subscribe every bug and I'll add brightness control is broken in my unit (HD1905, latest PE cROM May version).
It is true that every Oneplus 7T custom ROM is buggy, but this seems the perfect candidate to be successful. I wish the OP will fix everything.
Only every custom ROM based on OOS12. OOS11 based are pretty stable.
    1
what are the exact steps to go back to oos12?
All You need to know is in this link. Install oos11 (there is no oos12 to download yet) and go through ota updates.

Edit: to be exact i get ~1h more SOT on oos12 vs pe but the biggest difference is when i don't use phone, discharging at idle is a lot faster on pe.
