Is there any way to have equalizer (Dolby Atmos) enabled on Android Auto when connected to USB? When I connect to Android Auto, Dolby Atmos gets disabled. On OOS11 there was no manual equalizer but there was Dynamic, Movie and Music you could choose from and it worked with Android Auto. Perhaps this has to do with Android 13 and is impossible to have Dolby Atmos with Android Auto. Google loves to disable features for reasons unknown.

Trying to flash this from crDroid 8.x, going through the firmware instructions but getting this error:

Flashing new crDroid recovery
Sending 'recovery_a' (98304 KB) OKAY [ 2.269s]
Writing 'recovery_a' FAILED (remote: '(recovery_a_a) No such partition')

I am in Bootloader mode

fastboot flash recovery xxx.img
(not recovery_a)

rooting with magisk works like any other. Got safetynet to pass with nexus 6p device attestation. Google pay works great with magiskhide

I've been using CrDroid for 2 weeks and feel that this ROM is better than PE plus13 I upgraded from cr9.0 OTA to the latest version of ROM It is worth mentioning that the auto-brightness problem of Rom still exists
Is this a common problem with Android 13 or something else?

I too find this ROM to be almost perfect. The only let-down seems to be the faulty adaptive brightness. It's always too bright, especially in low light environment. Much appreciated if this can be fixed.

Does anyone have issues with the GPS? When testing on a few different GPS testing apps, it takes forever to get a fix (if doesn't on OOS) and when it does, it's somewhat inaccurate and loses its fix quickly. Rebooting seems to provide a temporary boost but it just slowly degrades back to pretty sub par performance.

On v20230126, after the update the volume of external speakers are really low and missing bass, do I need to factory reset after dolby config replacement in this update or is it intended? Is ther an option somewhere to change the config used: Device: dolby: Tune values from OP9Pro?

I am having problems with the network and wifi, all connections stops haphazardly then work again, like a restart in the service ..
I found the same complaint in the latest lineage Os thread here on xda ..

The battery charging threshold is not working at all from the first time I installed crd till now..

Out of nowhere, Google Wallet is saying that my phone doesn't meet the safety requirements anymore. My Wallet app updated last night but I haven't done anything else and I'm not rooted. Has anyone else has this issue, or any luck getting it to work again?

I had huge issues after updating from november to december build. I had a repro with bluetooth headphones: spotify playing, have a call on whatsapp, end call, spotify switched to phone speakers and when trying to call on mobile network it completely disconnected, wireless turned off. I only recently moved to current build, prefered to skip january builds due to this bug.

I still encounter issues where BT headphones suddenly disconnect after a pause and when i start the music again it blasts through the speaker, but no repro so far.

Try to clean install the rom and be sure you've updated the firmware.

What i found seems to be only for headphones and for me it's decent with bt headphones, the issue i have is with phone speakers, they seem to have no dolby whatsoever, flat sound, no bass, no gain.

Haven't tried to clean reinstall, too much hassle and need a lot more free time. I did install an earlier build, but ran into the same issue bland sound, so not sure what's going on there, need to run some more tests.

Thanks for your good work.
Touchscreen didnt work, then I realized I had to flash other IMGs.
The few ROM I tried didn't have that requirement and it got me very curious: are they taken from a specific OOS? Are they modified and built? Why? Are there features that requires those specific firmwares? Unless other custom ROMs flash their own firmware too but does it in the system boot?
