I just downloaded and clean and installed PE13+
-Charge runs out too fast
-Phone gets very hot sometimes (YouTube, Chrome, APK installed)

I think many people complaining about battery life should take into account the battery wear.

I got my phone somewhere near the beginning of 2020... So the battery is pretty worn out.

After replacing my battery last week (had to use a heatgun lol), my phone will easily last more than a day.

since the last PE update my impressions about the battery life are very positive, the battery lasts longer, I don't have to charge the phone more often, I can't give it in numbers, but I'm very happy with the last PE 13 Plus update.

I've seen that a new stable version has been released and also a new kernel. Can I clean install them? Do I need to wipe my phone to install them?

Hello, for me the latest version 13+ of 06/01/2023 is a ruin for the battery. As soon as I can I go back to the old version

New version of rom is fantastic.
Totally agree with the person who mentioned battery change, I've just done the same (random battery from AliExpress).
It's actually very easy if you're careful, and the difference is night and day (or 2 days Vs most of a day for me)
Obviously YMMV.

Hello everyone, I hope to find some help here regarding the bluetooth connection on the console of my car. Since the Oos 11 version, the network reception indicator on the console remains fixed. I no longer have the reality of network reception, whereas on Oos 10 it worked very well. Would there be a manipulation to do to rectify this concern. Thank you

I don't see any app really draining the battery but the phone is always warm.

Try changing launcher to a different one (nova for example) and/or uninstall updates and disable android intelligence service

Having an issue while flashing the latest ROM
On cmd it says Total xfer: 0.94x
And on the recovery it says Error applying update 29 (ErrorCode :kDownloadOperationHashMismatch)
Tried it twice, same issue persists

After installing the latest version PE 13+ I had a big problem with my battery life so I went back to the version of 11/29/22 24 hours ago I redid the installation of the latest version by installing the kernel https://github.com/classified/android_kernel_oneplus_sm8150/releases/tag/1.3 and since then it's been a revolution, a question of autonomy

yes but it installs without erasing it is from december the kernel

Seems like it's for android 12 but latest PE it's android 13 and they says it's for oxygen 12 not PE right?
Can somebody suggest any better kernel to install which after flash in will extend battery life? Stock kernel from PE is terrible for battery life ....
