Is there any kernel which works better with this ROM? ASI removing didn't help a lot

I've the same problem with the battery drainage, Over night about 25%.

Also when there is ja grayish Background somewhere in an app or page, it will constantly switch between black an grey.

The display brightness sensor is constantly changing the brightness. Even when the surround lighting is not changing

The Fingerprint reader is not always working on AOD. Have to press the button to be in Lock screen, then it works fine.

Well, I give a try plus version and delete cache and data from ASI and then see how it goes.
Face unlock is very slowly and often doesn't recognize me.
Otherwise I'm really happy with this ROM. Great work!
Maybe little off topic but, I have two apps which newer want to work at custom roms. Is there anyway that some of dewelopers can check what they and why they block?
If I remember correctly, was it possible to get more Google drive space with PE?

Hi! I am unable to sideload as my system does not recognize the device through Pixel Experience Recovery.

I have tried with a bunch of other recovery, and everything seems to work fine. The problem is only with Pixel Experience recovery, 'Android ADB Recovery Interface' does not detect the device and has an alert icon on it.

I have just installed TWRP, and everything is working great. ADB is also detecting, and I can run through the commands.

My question is:
1. Will the OTA Updates work fine with TWRP recovery? or do I have to update every time manually?
2. Any way that I can still have the pixel experience recovery get to work?

I have a problem with faceunlock. After unlocking camera doesn't hide. It happens sometimes but then I need to open camera app to hide it

Hi! This rom is a great experience, I really like it. I just have a question regarding the green location indicator in the status bar. Is it possible to customize/deactivate it for specific Apps? Or maybe deactivate it when the phone is in fullscreen mode? Because when watching youtube etc. and using the location history there is a green dot every few seconds and it always shows the status bar and is therefore a little distracting. Would really appreciate this!

The Telegram group covers all of this regularly, and is a lot more active than this thread
1. You won't be able to install PE via TWRP - it does not work/is not supported.
Once PE is installed, you won't need to access the recovery for OTA updates.
2. We would need more detail of what you are doing to understand why it's not working for you. Are you following the instructions exactly? I'm not sure what you mean by 'Android ADB Recovery Interface'. Check out the telegram group

Just long press and switch off system update notifications from play store. They're independent of the actual system update notifications. Atleast I think so. It's not an issue unless you can see it I guess

Don't get me wrong, the 2023/05/06 build is working perfectly nevertheless it's always great to e.g. also have the latest security patches included.
Maybe you can provide some update about the status.

Yes, I am still maintaining it. As in last month core team were busy with their life stuff hence they weren't able to update the source. Hopefully this month there will be an update.

Hello everyone,
I would like to switch from Oxygenos to pixel roms on my OP 7TP.
However, after trying out all those available, I've come to the conclusion that my battery life has gone from a full working day (8am-5.30pm - from 100% to around 20%) on ... to half a day (8am-11am - from 100% to 0%).
For me, the two possible options are :
- the consumption of the 7TP's 2k screen, which I always set to 1080p on Oxygenos (All the pixel roms I tried didn't have this option).
- Recently I've started to wonder whether the kernel might be to blame (something I don't understand and have never wanted to try because I find it beyond my capabilities).

So I wanted to get your opinions and advice on how to benefit from Android 13 and maybe 14 with the recent security updates.

Ps: Sorry for my bad English. I speak French and I use a translator.
