Quick questions, I am using Evolution X on my 8T, but the latest build decided to go back to using the pixel launcher instead of the EvoX launcher, which let you remove the at a glance widget and the search bar without root.

Does the launcher in this ROM let you do that too without the need to root? Or is it just straight up pure pixel launcher?

If that were the case, could I use an APK port of the EvoX launcher on the phone?( They told me it doesn't work on the latest build)

Does the Smart charging feature let you select a custom battery level for the maximum charge limit?

Does the QS tiles customization let you increase the number of columns in your QS panel?

Straight up pure Pixel Launcher.
Port of EvoX Launcher, can't say..
Smart Charging for max charge limit, not yet.
QS Tiles columns yes u can increase.

First of all, yor Rom is awesome. But i have a huge problem with automatic Brightness. Its not working. My Display is always at 100% even when i adjust the brightness manually. Any solution for this?

This happened to me also try to move away from the light source and wait a few seconds

This happened to me also try to move away from the light source and wait a few seconds

Its a feature called Extra Brightness. When u come under the sun it triggers the brightness to go a little beyond 100% so u can see clearly. When the feature is triggered u cannot adjust ur brightness manually. It's like opposite of Extra Dim feature.

Turn on extra dim and you will get better auto brightness.
Manual override auto brightness so this working.
Move away phone from light source if you are on auto brightness if not working try to reset phone.

I don't have OnePlus 9R, so testing rom after compiling is not possible. So stability of the rom would be questionable.
Second I don't have space on SDD for another rom.
And third I don't have time.

Ooof I could have tested for 9R but don't want to trouble you . But I've used it on a 8t and it was great.

Yes, this is the way:
1. Backup all your data
2. Reboot to recovery
3. Go to Factory reset/ Format data/ factory reset ( all your data will be lost!!!)
4.While in recovery, navigate to Apply update -> Apply from ADB
5. adb sideload rom.zip (replace "rom" with actual filename)
6. Reboot to system
