Hello! The gesture from the bottom up on the screen does not work well to view running applications and switch between them. I have to turn off the screen, unlock the phone and try this gesture again. Not every time this happens, but this problem happens very often every day. With what can be connected? Thank you! I'm using the launcher from the firmware. Maybe this is due to the fact that I turned off the strip at the bottom of the screen and also turned off the indent under the keyboard

I use same config as you - no gap under the keyboard, no gesture indicator - fullscreen + gestures. No bugs or weird behavior.

after a long time going from Android 10 to Android 12. I followed the clean flash guide after updating to latest OrangFox 11.1_1 and the ROM installed successfully.
Everything is working fine except the phone doesn't wake up easily when the charger is connected. I believe the phone wakes up but the brightness is extremely dim and the screen is unresponsive. To wake up during charging, I have to press power button followed by fingerprint sensor immediately.
The issue disappears when the charger is not connected. This happens with other charger as well.
logcat attached. Not sure if the logcat captured the event. Kindly help. Thanks.

I'm not currently on evox so I can't really test it, but do you remember if you have tweaked any settings regarding "doze" or "ambient" or similar things? I suspect your screen waked up and got stuck to an incorrect doze brightness, which is really weird.

I did turn on "Tap to wake on doze". However I change the setting back off and the issue still persists.
Is it possible to reset the doze brightness?

Polaris does not have Always On Display because the device has an LCD panel, not an OLED panel. Therefore, I believe the tap to wake on doze, which is clearly designed for AOD-enabled devices (AOD usually runs under doze mode), should not be there for polaris, but evox isn't famous for its quality of source code anyway.

I have no idea what was actually affected by that setting and I don't know how to fix the issue without a clean flash.

Okay. I will perhaps wait for the next release and do on OTA update. May be that will fix the issue. Thank you for your time.

I had some serious issues installing Magisk (boot.img method) when accidentally upgrading from Android 11 to 12 through OTA. Not recommended (as stated in the release notes)! - Clean wipe install fixed everything.

First Time Install / Clean Flash

- Install the latest TWRP or OrangeFox
- In TWRP/OrangeFox, open Terminal (Advanced/Terminal in TWRP, Menu/More/Terminal in OrangeFox), and run command `mke2fs -t ext4 -b 4096 /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/cust`, then enter "y" to confirm.
- Install ROM in recovery
- Format data (the one you type "yes" to confirm)
- Reboot


Update / Dirty Flash
- Boot into recovery
- Flash the ROM
- Reboot to system & #KeepEvolving
