I've been using the 7.3 (Android 13) update since launch, and I've found some things that worked better in the 6.7 (Android 12):
-The selected font isn't uniform across all the system. It's more visible in the settings app, where the titles use a different font compared to the subtitles. Also it doesn't change the Gboard font, neither did in Android 12, but with MIUI it is possible, so I know it's something that can be done.
-The IME space cannot be eliminated even if the option to hide it is selected. The only thing it does is make it super tiny, but not invisible like before.
-Before, our phone was identified as a Pixel 6 Pro, now it's the Pixel 5. I don't know if it's something to worry about, but I noticed that.
-Sometimes when changing the brightness, the slider doesn't work, it moves to the new adjusted position, only for it to revert back to the previous brightness a second later, and you have to do it a second time for it to work. It doesn't happen all the time.
-When using the "slide across the bottom of the screen" gesture to change apps, it freezes some times, and you either have to wait or do the "return to homescreen" gesture for the phone to respond again, which takes a couple of tries for it to work.
-This also happened in Android 12. The notification LED blinks when there are no notifications. It's less persistent now than it was on Android 12, it used to happen to me all the time, everyday, but now it has happened to me a couple of times.
-In the battery settings, the "real capacity", "number of charge cycles" and "estimated capacity" are blank, empty. First I thought it needed some days to register the new values, but no, they have been empty since day one.
-I remember there was an option to keep apps from appearing in the drawer, hide them, but now I can't find the option anymore. It wasn't another launcher, I'm sure it was in the "Evolution" part of the settings.
-When the border illumination when receiveng notifications is activated, there is an option for the color to be according to accent, or notification color. With Android 12 it had a blue tint for Facebook and a green one for WhatsApp, but now the option does nothing, because I have the "notification color" activated, and it illuminates with the accent color.
-Now the most annoying one I've found. There's no "reading mode" anymore, or whatever it's called in english. I'm talking about the option to "tint" the screen with a redish tone to reduce the eye strain, it's completely missing! There is an option in the LiveDisplay section that implies it's there, under the "Display Mode", but it's always deactivated, no matter what I do. Now using the phone at night is really annoying, and I know I could be using an app for that, like Twilight, but it was awesome having it directly incorporated in the system.
I think that's all for now, haven't found anything else, but on the bright side, maybe battery life has improved since the last release, I think my phone lasts longer now with Android 13.
Anyway, the ROM is surely suitable for daily use, no game breaking glitches or something like that, and the fact that now it's finally encrypted makes everything better. Keep being awesome, as always!
