Introduction
LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 13 (T), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Installation instructions

• Download the zip(s).
• Install a compatible Recovery
• Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
• Follow the instructions HERE to re-partition your system partition. (You NEED 2GB)
• No need to resize it manually after every update/OTA installation, my scripts will do it automatically.
• Wipe system / data / cache partitions
• Flash ROM.
• Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package.
• Optional: Install Magisk for Root.

I posted on November 27th what may be the last message on the OS 19 thread, thanking you for this truly impressive feat: a 2014 phone running lastest Android versions quite fluently.

As I wrote there, you're proving once and again how deceptive the industry is concerning the lifecycle of our phones. As I wrote there, I sent you a modest "Paypal recognition" for all this. And finally, as I wrote there, make an extra effort and ignooooore all those demanding beggar choosers and their only outstanding feature: shamelessness !

(oh, and thanks again for not including now Google Play , that incredible burden on the system)

I can confirm everything is working perfectly.

Although both the side buttons are lost, I don't even bother to find the back cover because it can never be found, the touch doesn't recognise on the left side of the screen... I don't get a mechanic who can repair this old phone but I still love to hold and use my first smartphone. The Nostalgia....
