You should install LineageOS 18.1 for it to boot first, then go back to TWRP and overwrite LineageOS 20.0 to 18.1 (no wipe data, cache or anything) if wipe data, cache and clean lineageos 20.0 it will hang logo

i dont know how but this works for me. But i cant install instagram. it said this app wont work on your device

I tested this rom on a dual sim HTC U11 - Indian model I guess  (dirty flash from LineageOS 18.1), unfortunately I can not get any networks to work (no SIM detected, no 4G, no WiFi).

edit : it seems to install and work as intended on another HTC U11 (French model, Orange provider, single sim).

Is there anyone sucessfully installing Magisk 26.1? I installed it and tried several time, only sucessful one time, but failed again when I reboot the phone. I am not sure what the problem is.

edit : it seems to install and work as intended on another HTC U11 (French model, Orange provider, single sim).

I made a few more try on my dualsim model:

- After a dirty flash (no dalvik / cache wipe): boot ok, but no network detected (no sim card detected, no wifi). I tried to move the sim card from the first slot to the second slot (even reinstalled with this disposition), but it made no difference, the sim card was not detected;
- After a full wipe (including data): the boot sequence can not complete, the phone was stuck to boot animation (I left the phone as is for more than 40 minutes).

I reverted back to LineageOs 18.1, everything is working fine again (except for the audio level on whatsapp, which is far too loud on speaker mode with no way to lower it).

On the single SIM htc U11, it seems to work ok (it takes almost a minute to connect to the LTE/GSM network, but I think this problem was also present on LineageOs 18.1).

edit : on the French single sim model, there is no way to connect the phone to Windows 11 in order to transfer files. The connexion seems to work for a few second, then it is lost (all options are greyed out). I should have read the front page, USB problems are mentioned.

Upfront I had saved all my data with Swift on my SD card and into my private cloud.
In the new LineageOS 20 I did than reinstall all my 215 user apps and did reload their data.
Was quite some work (almost the whole day) but today has been a public holiday over here, so I had the time to do it.
Everything running fine so far.
Some more tests will follow tomorrow.
Now a good night from Germany.

Or maybe you can give me an idea or trick to make it work?
Now i use Los 18.1 by @Golv and use software button that enabled by add any tweak inside build.prop..

Update:
Android Auto is not working due to the USB problem mentioned in the first post.
@tarkzim (and perhaps @Golv ) is there any chance to get the USB fixed?
I do use Android Auto quite a lot and it was working fine in 18.1 since the USB did work fine in 18.1.

I used both golv and tarkzim build for my HTC U11 japan. Honestly, all build still can't make hardware navigation button work. I just activate with on screen navigation button by adding a line of tweak inside build.prop file.

For rom builds by Tarkzim, the onscreen navigation menu can be activated via Settings.

There is an option under Settings>System>Buttons to toggle between hardware and software buttons in my LOS20.
