do it you won't regret it.. its the best experience i have had on any phone ever. i even sold my S22 Ultra and went back to this

loving this ROM - thank you so much! Only bug i can find is that "OK Google" is still listening when phone is locked even when i have it set not too.

Other than that this ROM is incredible! Everything is fantastic, from performance to stability to battery life!

Where did you set it? That should not happen.

Google App -> Settings -> Google Assistant -> Lock Screen. Turn off the slider for "Assistant responses on lockscreen".

Sliders work and stick in the right position though Google always wakes up when i say it whether its on or off.

I was a Clean install of the latest version with full format too.

Cant reinstall the app as it's System. Though tried clearing cache..

Would SmartLock get in the way? I am sure it hasn't in the past..

I believe that option controls whether you allow assistant to perform certain actions when the screen is locked. It does not toggle the hot word trigger.

I don't think there is a toggle to disable hot word only on lockscreen. You can use the toggle in "Voice match" to turn it off completely.

I've used in the past without issue. I think what if causing it not to work is SmartLock as essentially the device is Not Locked when I'm at home. Even though screen is off. I'll confirm today by turning of smart lock

Nope not SmartLock.. it certainly looks like the right setting. See the screenshot

the only reason i use it cause i have a few Google Homes around the house and i dont want my phone to answer when i say "OK Google" though my phone keeps answering now

No idea then. We ship prebuilt Google stuff, so there is nothing I can do about it.

id love to use this rom, but im afraid it will screw with the persist partition making fp sensor and position sensor useless

says in post #1 that Fingerprint works fine. and it does.

Though also has Face Unlock which works great too.

Last update was at then end of November. Next update should come later this month and it will be based on android 13. PE has not opened up the release window for this month yet.

PE 12 based on android 12 is considered deprecated now. That's probably why it says discontinued.

i mean getting this issues after coming back to stock miui.
i had a mi mix 3 and flashing PE resulted in lots of headaches once i went back to stock firmware, all due to the persist partition.

Ah.. can't answer that one. Though imho you will never go back after trying this. It's the best experience I have had on any smartphone. Ever.

ok, camera app is the stock one? anything not working?
theres no video about this rom running on this phone on youtube, so im kinda skeptical.

Install MGC 8.6.263 GCam for Camera. Everything works perfectly and better than stock for me. (I'm not rooted btw) if you root you may have some issues with some apps.. though without root its perfect.

all good expected that 12 will be discontinued now they are working on 13..
