Install MGC 8.6.263 GCam for Camera. Everything works perfectly and better than stock for me. (I'm not rooted btw) if you root you may have some issues with some apps.. though without root its perfect.

MGC In this version still is not good and in the video is so problems if we can flash miui stock camera we can say goodbye for end with miui

Just decided to make the plunge and move to custom ROM in about 2 years since the last time I used one just can't beat stock Android no stupid add on by Xiaomi can't wait for the upgrade 13

Don't try patch the vandor boot it got my phone in fastboot loop thank you need to rip the boot image from your phone by commands to patch it

Most of the android 13 ROMs on here use the pixel theme and apps too be honest just try one you will see

yeah i did try Evo in mid december. Wasn't as good back then. Though i might try again in the next few weeks.

TBH i am perfectly happy with PE 12 though as like most XDA members FOMO makes me want to upgrade! :-D

Don't know why but after flash pe5 plus there isn't meteo on "at a glance" and no AOD...

strange my At a Glance works fine. Though where do you find those settings? It's part of the "Google" app which you can update through the Play Store.. maybe try and update or clear cache.

The Mi11 gets too hot when simply browsing the web with chrome, even in winter. And the battery doesn't last very long, I only got 3-4h of SOT even with battery saver mode activated.
The ROM is amazing, super smooth and fluid, it lasts s bit longer compared with stock MIUI but frankly it's still not enough.
Anyway, I don't need so much power, if I could I would cut in half the power just to not charge my phone twice a day.

The only time my phone gets hot as when I've been gaming for an hour or two otherwise normal task like Netflix or browsing doesn't make a difference use my phone all day listening to audiobook still have 70% battery from 7 this morning to 9 at night
