Good choice as there are not a lot of changes in the new released recently. V2.3.0 is still the best one for me

Hi guys,
This is the first time I have installed this ROM and I am not sure if this is a bug or its an installation error. I connect my s3 to my TV using the mhl cable to watch YouTube and also to use the phone as a PC substitute sometimes. When I connected after installing this ROM, the video was working fine but there was no audio. I reinstalled again and still there was the same issue. So I installed the previous ROM that I use, sotmax. The audio was working again so I reinstalled this ROM to check it one last time, and its still not working. Any one else having the same issue?
BTW, I tried using the recommended kernel as well as the stock kernel (not stock exactly but the last one).

Could you try with Yank or Boeffla kernel in order to be sure it is or not rom or kernel related?

I just hate the stock ui so I went in search of a clean and stable rom which has the sds and exynos fix. Thankyou for the reply.

I am not that good at coding... but I thing the easiest way for me to try this would be to add all the stock apps, that u have removed, and then if it works, I can just send the logs to you or attach them for someone else to find the missing link. BTW, which logs will I need to see and how can I record or start or execute it ?

Helping solve even something as small as this would be so awesome.

But i have a few questions, when i open stweaks i see stange settings.

- cpu min and max on 1700
- sharpness not turned on
- etcc

What app do i need to use to change settings?

And is there an option to change statuus bar for example the batt icon?

Hello,

It's difficult to advise you a particular setting as all phone are different and usages as well.
If you do a "normal usage" meaning mainly calls, web browsing, emails, chat and light games, you may go for Xtreme kernel and begin by low UV like -50.
If you use more demanding games or hot-spotting and other heavy stuffs, try then the recommended kernel settings, beginning by low UV.
Advantage of this Rom and kernel is that you will be able to adjust your kernel settings whenever you want using the aroma installer available here http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2058934.

Ok but just to save some time can't I install all the removed bloatware apps and see if that fixed the issue. If it does, I can then go ahead and start again and install one app at a time.

I just reinstalled all the apps and still the mhl doesn't work. I tried with all the three kernal options and also with yank and the perseus one. I have put my entire day in this and am done, so untill something new regarding this pops up, I will return to the boring looking but equally stable sotmax rom.

Can anyone else please try an see if this is a bug with the ROM or is it just specific to me?

I understand that there isn't much demand for this feature but its something that I use alot. I hope if this is an issue with the rom it will hopefully be fixed in the future update.
