Is anybody uses the "Full Immersive Mode" with MacroDroid app ?

Due to run this function, it had to executed "adb shell pm grant com.arlosoft.macrodroid android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS".

But after this, the touchscreen and power button both fail to work, it seems happen on all of the Android 9.0 custom ROMs. (AICP, AEX, LineageOS, RR and so on...)

Any ideas ?

Hi !
people! today flashed Havoc OS 3.0 - super fast and the problems with the 2nd sim card are now also a thing of the past.
About Battery consumption, I then report in24 hours
Camera works at least for me synonymous both photo and video

I'm using the September version of Havoc OS and I'm pretty satisfied.

The MIUI (global/EU) were causing very serious battery problems; especially when WIFI is enabled. It seems some kind of driver issue; since I do not see this drain on custom ROM. I played with the network types (changed it to LTE/UMTS), but it doesn't make any significant change.

I have tried a bunch of other ROMS and Havoc is the one that most happy with and gives me the least amount of battery issues. So WIFI on and mobile data on at the same time, doesn't lead to drain of battery. Also there is almost no drain of battery in the night (perhaps 1% on the worst case).

Also I enjoy the fact that not the whole Google suite of apps is installed out of the box; I took the gapps pico installation and installed just what I needed.

The thing that does bug me is the battery drain when I'm using browing (Via/Kiwi..doesn't matter) or Youtube. Then I can almost see the percentages going down. So I don't know what is causing this. It seems to be draining a lot faster compared to my previous phone (Moto Z Play).

I installed some battery analysis tools:
- GSM Battery pro
- Accu Battery

I have rooted the device and also installed:
- Kernel Auditor (cpu's scaling governor I changed to ondemand since I don't play games)
- Simple System Monitor.

But if internet isn't used and I'm just reading some PDF's then I'm sure I could stretch the SOT to 25+ h. I do have a 13" ereader, but I don't always have it handy, so I'm reading quite a lot on this phone.

In short.. I really like this ROM and I'm looking forward to the update.

No idea if and when the Rom Bauer will provide the 3.0 on XDA.
I found the link about 2 months ago by chance.

Oh first experience .... after 18 hours of average use (5 hours of sleep, about 40 minutes of surfing, 90 minutes streaming
1 hour listening to music, 20 minutes gaming still 80% battery left

By the way also a huge big thank you to all the other Rome cooks who provide us with their hard work again and again
with new Rome for our MiMax 3 and keep our device up to date and alive.

Using same version of this rom. But no Google.. microg. When i go home after a full day, I usulally have %79 or more battery..
I suspect , your google software is eating up your battery.
Other than that, you may try to use Android Pie, bacground run restriction adjustment for the apps. It really helps to conserve battery.

Currently 2.9 is running quite smooth and bugless. I think i will not install 3.0 version until It is here..

Thanx!!

I don't think this is the cause. It is the moment I'm using the browser or youtube, that the battery starts to drain very rapidly. If I don't use them, battery is great. That is one of the reason I like Havoc and my setup; because if not used, there is no battery drain. And if I don't use internet, batterytime is nearly endless.

I did 35m run with youtube on my Moto Z Play and Mi Max 3. Same distance to the wifi. Both lost 5% of battery (although 5500Mah vs 3500Mah). So it appears it isn't draining faster from a percentage point of view.

Same thing for me also.

The way the 241119 version crashed, is similar to the problems I'm having when trying to flash the latest AFR and GodSpeed kernels over Havoc 3.0

The Havoc logo fades once of boot and then hangs, into bootloops.

The 191119 version works without an issue.

Is this kernel related with 241119 and the big question - why??

Havoc 3.0

any news on the quality of the 3.0 builds and is there any info on the person who's putting these builds out? I love Havoc 2.9 and its been running rock stable for some months now. Monster battery life too with just the pico gapps. Always want the upgrade though ;) android 10... meant to be even more battery friendly... ?

It's @Franssen who build this.

Since few weeks we can't build nothing in Android 10 because we don't have the knowledge to make a working device tree anymore. We're kind of build bots in the game.
The good news is our only real developer BlackSeraph @MrColdbird is managing to make Android 10 working on our device. So maybe after that updates will come again. I know Frannsen would love to but early havoc 3.0 builds were not fully working.

Regards
