Hi I have just installed this ROM - the first custom ROM I've tried for my Mi Max 3, I dont seem to be able to get the edge gestures working ?

I assumed that with edge gestures set to "on" they would operate in a similar way to MIUI ie swipe in from the left to go back, swipe up to go home, up and hold to go to task switcher etc. However when I set the navigation setting to "Edge Gestures" nothing happens when I swipe in from either the left or right side ? Swiping up from the bottom does make the phone go to the home ? Any help appreciated !

The gestures depend on which option you chose. Some of the options have a brief and somewhat vague description of the gesture. For some you may need to go into the option to get a hint of the gesture it enables.
Also gestures can be enabled from multiple places, Havoc Settings - Gestures has the more complete set of options. I tried several combinations before I got exactly what I wanted.

Is there any way to install additional status bar notification icons ? I have a few apps which dont display the notification icon correctly, they just appear as a solid white icon ?

can i flash the latest rom with 9.9.3 firmware? has the firmware been updated on mimax3?

so you had installed xiaomi.eu_multi_MIMAX3_9.9.26_v11-9 with miui 11 and after you installed Havoc 2.9 13-09
with required Firmware 9.9.3
xiaomi.eu rom have also arb enabled right?
the latest rom 9.9.26_v11-9 uses the same firmware 9.9.3 or every rom uses new firmware
i am new at arb devices

Hi,
In my understand, since Pie active ARB 4 for MM3. So, if the rom you want install stay in ARB 4, you can flash.

I dont tested, its only my understand.

It is safe to go between xiaomi eu rom and flash these custom ROMs. No issues as I do the same. Also all are based on Pie

so i just flash rom and gapps + magisk
no need to flash firmware 9.9.3 i guess right?
in the next update i will need to flash firmware too if newer required than 9.9.26?

Basically, when the phone gets into deep sleep, when I turn the screen back on, I cannot reconnect to the same WiFi connection and WhatsApp messages won't automatically come in / push. Need help in this, it's kind of a deal breaker.

Will Android Auto Wireless Work with this ROM?

I tried it with the latest MIUI 11 and it works, but when I'm connected to my cars wifi I don't have internet anymore. Pixel or Samsung phones work. They are connected to the cars wifi but enable mobile data at the same time to get internet access.

So to be more precise. Is the network stack of this ROM capable of using WiFi and mobile data at the same time?

I was having similar issues so I reflashed well dirty flashed the 9.9.3 firmware and the havoc ROM no gapps and reboot so far so good

Hey folks. Now that my previous issue had been averted, anyone know how to reduce the height of the navigation bar lower than 65%? Any help appreciated, except for adb overscan, cheers!
