For me I had to stop using my old ADB files and download the most current ones, and it worked. Only occurred when I used this rom but glad to have the most current ADB files....go figure but it was my case for the sideload command to work.Hi, I'm on 8T and I can't seem to flash either the 09.27 or the 10.01 versions. The ADB sideload always returns with "adb: failed to read command: No error". I tried with the recommended EROFS recovery, and with the latest OrangeFox, always with the same outcome. The latest version that seems to work is the 09.19 one. The last OTA broke something, because I needed to make a factory reset after each reboot. I'm on the latest C33 firmware, with no custom kernel. Any help is appreciated.
A little question about GCam. I saw it's the default camera app of this rom, but if i look for it on the play store, it says me that's need an update (304mb). If I try to install the update, it ends in an error.
Do anyone knows what's happens? Or just know why, or I am the only one who have this problem?
Ok, now I understand, thanks. Anyway, I maybe wrong, but is this patched version missing a lot of feature? That's likely because the version being included is hacked to work better with our specific phone, along with other improvements, and its signature no longer matches the one the official app is shipped with. So, answer? Don't try to update and ignore it. If it really bothers you, you can go into your PlayStore settings and tell it to not try to ever update that app.
Yup, fixes will be rolling out soon.
Issues with pixel launcher have already been fixed. Will be available on the next release.
You're gonna have to start from scratch here.Hi all. I'm confused and not following the post
I am still on 11/19 for my OP8P. I see there is an OTA update available on my phone if I download and install as normal and run Magisk to keep root.
I have not done anything since there is some post here about needing to wipe data or reformat.
In newbie language, if I want to update what do I do from here? Same as normal, or am I forced to wipe data?
No, you have to be on OOS 12 firmware (C33-C35). If you're on OOS13 firmware you will most definitely face bugs.
Yes it is.
The patch for this is already included in the ROM.
