I found two new ****ty bug:
1) after a while, the launcher starts to eat up a quarter of the processor's resources (pic 1)

2) after a while, the launcher starts to lag and work as if at 15 fps (video)

Здравствуйте! Пришло обновление, но после загрузки, ошибка проверки. Подскажите как обновиться, без потери данных?
Hello! An update came, but after downloading, a verification error. Tell me how to update without losing data?
Можете попробовать обновиться через переустановку (Update / Dirty Flash в шапке) - будет затронут только системный раздел

You can try upgrading by reinstalling (Update / Dirty Flash in the header) - only the system partition will be affected

Hi @AnierinB,
We had a great camera application similar to, or probably GCam in the build 2-3 times previous to the current one. I really liked it and want it back on my device. Could you please share it with me or let me know how can I get it?

Thanks! :)

Also, I have noticed that on evolution x, my phone vibrates wayyy too powerfully. Like I can hear weird vibrating noise and that's irritating because it comes up with almost every notification and calls. I found this setting 'System strength' today in the OPlus extras. Thought this could help me but it's not available.
Can anyone please check and let me know?

I found the reason for these bugs is the google search bar on the home screen. i have seen recommendations to disable the "people" and "internet search" flags, but this does not help in any way.

Hello! How do I know which firmware I'm on (OOS 11 or 12)? I flashed latest evolutionx build (25.11.2022 build), does it include the correct firmware already and if so, then I am on OOS 12 firmware?

Just throwing this out there but the scrren flickering might be related to the "Smooth display" feature? Like disable that and try forcing 90Hz for the display to be on all the time, see if that makes a difference. To force all the time try in the dev settings.

As for the lag, try a CPU monitor app, see if something rogue is running. Also, you may want to get a log (adb logcat or matlog) and upload to something like pastebin.com and post the link. Maybe the dev can see something running that shouldn't be and might be able to resolve it. My 2 cents anyway - probably the best way to get help otherwise it's just a needle in a haystack trying to figure out the resolution to the problem you're having.

    Hello,

I had a few questions if the users of this rom would kindly answer :

    1. Since this rom is based on OOS12 fw, does it also have the battery % stuck until lock/unlock bug ?
    2. What is the widevine certificate on it ?
    3. Any major bugs whatsoever ?

    Thank You in advance.
    1. Yes, the bug is present.
    2. It is L1
    3. These are the bugs I encountered;

    - "Network may be monitored" is still present even when I disabled QS footer warnings.

    - Disabling/Enabling Ripple effect doesn't work.

Hopefully @AnierinB will fix the bugs in the coming updates. The ROM is very stable.

@AnierinB In the latest January 4 update. "Network may be monitored" warning is still displaying even when I have disabled it in QS footer warnings. Please kindly fix this.
I'm not experiencing that whatsoever. Check your network I guess.

I've been using this rom for a week now and I have to say this is the best rom I've used for op7 in terms of stability and customisation.

Thanks! I have intalled recently this ROM in my OP7 and it is sooo good, the stability, android patch, lots of customization... My only issue is a high battery consuption. Someone with the same issue?
Same bro, everything is better except the high battery

    @iker137 @nity

The battery issue might be the android base being used. Several are saying the same thing with the Pixel Experience ROM that was recently released. Only real way to know is to get a log (adb logcat or MatLog) with the phone idling and see if there is something constantly drawing power.

    2. Reboot to bootloader
    3. fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
    fastboot flash boot boot.img
    fastboot reboot recovery
    4. While in recovery, navigate to Apply update -> Apply from ADB
    5. adb sideload rom.zip (replace "rom" with actual filename)
    6. Format data, reboot to system & #KeepEvolving

    Update / Dirty Flash
    1. Reboot to recovery
    2. adb sideload rom.zip (replace "rom" with actual filename)
    3. Reboot to system & #KeepEvolving

    OTA

    2. Reboot & #KeepEvolving

I renamed boot.img to recovery.img to make it easier for people to follow the instructions. It clearly says fastboot flash boot recovery.img. Anyways, firmware is built into the ROM zip now.

Huh, that is very odd...I'm having the same issue happen on crDroid (the new A13 build). Someone else using crDroid (the same build) has also reported the same thing. Very odd two completely different ROMs having the same issue.

I wonder if it is the A13 base they are using. This one (crDroid 9) is on TD1A.220804.031, is that what this ROM is using for base? From the file name I would venture to guess yes.

I would say we need logs of this but this is a tricky one as it is completely random and may not happen for 10 hours or 30 hours. Hmm...

Not really odd. These devices don't have a traditional light sensor (same for 8, 8T and 9 series). The implementation needs to be reworked and updated for the new oplus rebase on customs.
    2
Nope. I will not be migrating to it either. Erofs has been known to cause app launch regression. I ship with erofs on 8 series although I'll probably be migrating back to ext4 soon as well.
