Hi, the rom is great, but I have some issues:
1. Sometimes if I open an app that was previously opened, it kind of losses permissions. An example would be google maps, sometimes when I open it, it does not find my location and it is really laggy, so I have to close it and open it again. I think something is wrong with the permissions.

The battery is not great.

I've got a similar problem. But it doesn't seem to be losing permissions but rather the internet connection. When I reopen Opera mobile browser for example, that remained in the cache, no sites will refresh anymore. I always have to really close the app and re-start it from scratch - then it's OK.

I'd have to mention that I never flashed the boot and vendor images before; shall I try that? But I can't imagine these have anything to do with that issue ...

Moved on my Mi 11 from Xiaomi.eu ROM to Evolution X. The ROM is great but I lost the function to use my USB-c drive on my phone. Does anyone have a fix for this? I can't see the drive in the File Manager. It did work on Xiaomi.eu ROM.

While fresh install the rom (fresh from bootloader to rom), encounter signature verification failed on 47% during adb sideload.

can you remove the feature to switch back to the home screen when clicking on the middle of the bottom of the screen. it's pretty annoying

Just a follow-up before I take my holiday vacation. We've switched to Launcher3 as the default launcher since the Pixel Launcher has been causing issues such as stuttering refresh rates and battery drain since the November update. Launcher3 or the Evolution X Launcher has much more features and I think you will enjoy using it. Just use the back gesture to enable/disable toggles so that the launcher will restart automatically and apply the changes.

Camera stutters/freezes should be fixed as well.

Hope you guys can donate for the holidays!

    First Time Install / Clean Flash from MIUI

    Flash the linked boot, vendor_boot, and dtbo images by performing the following:

    Code: 
    fastboot flash boot_ab boot.img
fastboot flash dtbo_ab dtbo.img
fastboot flash vendor_boot_ab vendor_boot.img

    After finishing with that, get into recovery by pressing the power button and volume up button. Or run "fastboot reboot recovery"

    After that, please perform a factory reset by following the option in the recovery.

    Finally, you can sideload the ROM by selecting "Apply Update" (ADB) and run adb sideload /path/to/rom.zip.
