Hey got a problem with gcam.
It's crashing or getting stuck whenever I change to 60 fps on video or not letting me do anything than exit the app after clicking on video
I tried like 50 versions of gcam and they all do the same

Hello,

I had a few questions if the users of this rom would kindly answer :

1. Since this rom is based on OOS12 fw, does it also have the battery % stuck until lock/unlock bug ?
2. What is the widevine certificate on it ?
3. Any major bugs whatsoever ?

Thank You in advance.

1. Yes, the bug is present.
2. It is L1
3. These are the bugs I encountered;

- "Network may be monitored" is still present even when I disabled QS footer warnings.

- Disabling/Enabling Ripple effect doesn't work.

Hopefully @AnierinB will fix the bugs in the coming updates. The ROM is very stable.

I gotta say this rom has a lot of cool and unique features and even smart pixels, the only other rom that I know of with smart pixels is crdroid.
I wish the black and vivid monet themes didn't make the gray qs tiles so dark. Only clear, paint in the snow, and espresso keep the gray qs tiles normal but they aren't ideal.

What I'm saying is the status bar is now fixed on the build you're running as It was too thin before. There's nothing to fix
I like it the way it is thin. I'm sticking to the previous build 🤪
The bug "Network may be monitored" is still displaying even after disabling QS footer warnings. Maybe you could fix in future. Thanks so much.

Hey all. Loving the new ROM.

One thing I've noticed though and I'm not sure if it's a setting issue on my end or something like that... but I've noticed that when using the device on speakers and built in mic the volume seems kinda low?

When recording video for instance the mic volume seems low when viewed from other devices and I could swear that the internal speaker volume is lower than before.

Is there some setting that I can adjust?

I don't experience this. The mic is working well for me.

Use this official GCam for OnePlus 7 family. I have no issues using it at all.

@AnierinB in the latest update 230205, what is the circle under the quick settings for? It tends to pop whenever I tap the Dark theme tile.
This update is buggy and I noticed whenever I tap on the Dark theme tile in quick settings, the whole tiles takes a while and flashes before it changes.

Fast charging does not work at times, I have to unplug and plug before it fast charges and it goes back again to show "Charging slowly" I'm using the original charger and cable that came with the phone. The ROM keeps getting weird.

    1. Disable oos style clear all feature in the evolver for the time being

    2. Fast charging issues are being looked into.

"ROM keeps getting weird". Don't see what made you come to that conclusion as there's been issues with charging ever since the switch to oos12 fw/blobs/kernel and is not something that just miraculously appeared on the latest build.

The firmware is very good, but I noticed a few problems in it:
    1) Charging has become slower
    2) When connected, the charging power at the bottom of the screen shows 0W
    3) The sound is quieter and wheezing
    4) There are some graphical flaws in the interface
    5) I would like more customization in AOD

I renamed boot.img to recovery.img to make it easier for people to follow the instructions. It clearly says fastboot flash boot recovery.img. Anyways, firmware is built into the ROM zip now.

Huh, that is very odd...I'm having the same issue happen on crDroid (the new A13 build). Someone else using crDroid (the same build) has also reported the same thing. Very odd two completely different ROMs having the same issue.

I wonder if it is the A13 base they are using. This one (crDroid 9) is on TD1A.220804.031, is that what this ROM is using for base? From the file name I would venture to guess yes.

I would say we need logs of this but this is a tricky one as it is completely random and may not happen for 10 hours or 30 hours. Hmm...

Not really odd. These devices don't have a traditional light sensor (same for 8, 8T and 9 series). The implementation needs to be reworked and updated for the new oplus rebase on customs.
    2
Nope. I will not be migrating to it either. Erofs has been known to cause app launch regression. I ship with erofs on 8 series although I'll probably be migrating back to ext4 soon as well.
