Does warp 65 charging actually charge near warp 65 (65w) on this rom? Can anyone confirm that with something like Accubattery or another app?

Just to clarify, since in the OP it says OOS 13 F.20 firmware is included in the current build, I assume there's no need to use the F.18 & F.20 firmware updater(s) so long as I follow the directions in the OP, correct? Also, I have the unofficial TWRP that supports A12 & A13 decryption currently installed, (on F.17), but I'm assuming that I can still follow the OP steps, and TWRP will get overwritten without me needing to do anything else. I don't need TWRP, but it's installed, so just making sure that I don't need to take any extra steps to replace it besides following the installation instructions.

Finally, since I'm currently on OOS 13 F.17, should I use the F.18 firmware flasher before installing your ROM (F.20), or is it safe to go straight from F.17 to F.20?

Thanks much! This'll be my first OP9 custom ROM flash, and since my last device was a OP5 that I used for YEARS, I'm trying to be thorough. Thanks again for sharing your work with the community, it's very much appreciated!

Any methods I can use to go from rooted stock A11 to this? The in phone OTA in settings fails to update OTA or with the downloaded package, so i cant get to OOS13 base (or anything else for that matter).

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but almost everything for op9 has embedded firmware. Meaning flash dtbo,vendor_boot,recovery provided. Then sideload build after factory reset. Worse can happen is you have to use msm tool to get back where you need to be.

Someone knows if there is the chance to extend the ram ? ( I mean, ram plus ) and the chance to take a photo during video recording.....

It seems there aren't but maybe I missed them.....

This is an AMAZING ROM! To the dev, EXCELLENT JOB! Thank you so much for the work you've done and are doing for this community. My OP9 sat in the box for MONTHS after I bought it bc my OP5 was still running like a champ after replacing the battery (after 3 yers! Great job OnePlus! What happened between then and now?!), and I was extremely bummed about the OOS & ColorOS merge. Still, the hardware is top-tier, so after a TON OF RESEARCH, I settled on trying this ROM first, and I'm so glad I did! Post-merge, OOS is a disaster, glitchy performance, ghost starts on ALL video players, HIGHLY INVASIVE LOGGING, and just an overall bloated experience that feels NOTHING like the OOS I was using just 2 Android releases ago. Hopefully it'll get better.

Anyway, with EvoX, the performance is amazing, I haven't found any issues thus far, and my OP9 finally feels like the premium device that it's hardware allows it to be. I especially like the subtle animation changes (although I personally like increasing the speed to 0.5, regardless of the device), and the many, MANY customization options available. Also, big shout out to the dev for putting a clear warning in the OP9 extras menu that flashing a custom kernel could break some of the functionality available in said OP9 extras; it's a small thing, but for those unfamiliar with the complexities of the process, it's an extremely valuable touch.

I haven't really used the camera much yet, so can't say much there, but quick opening to point and shoot has been solid. I believe someone mentioned a GCam in this thread that I may try, so yeah.

Anyway, hope this helps anyone on the fence who's considering giving this a shot, and BIG THANKS AGAIN TO THE DEVELOPER!

    Commonly asked questions & answers:

Q: Why am I getting "error cannot read" while attempting to sideload the ROM
Well, you should be using the latest platform-tools and have it added to PATH. A lot of unofficial drivers floating around on the internet install outdated adb/fastboot along with the drivers. Please refrain from installing these as well as minimal adb & fastboot; Use the official google driver and official platform-tools instead.

Alternatively you can prefix each adb/fastboot cmd with ./ while in the platform-tools folder via powershell or bash, etc.

    For example:
    ./adb sideload ./rom.zip

This basically tells the shell "Hey, I want to execute this local binary rather than the one in PATH".

Q: I'm a windows user and my device is not being listed when I run adb/fastboot devices. I'm using the latest platform-tools, what could be the reason for this?

Q: I'm a linux user and my device is not being listed when I run adb/fastboot devices. I'm using the latest platform-tools, what could be the reason for this?

Q: Why is MTP and/or Android Auto not working?
Set the default USB configuration in Settings > The Evolver > Miscellaneous > USB Configuration

Don't see your question? Well, feel free to post a comment in this thread, we will reply as soon as we can. We'd appreciate if users used XDA FIRST and the telegram group as a LAST RESORT.

    To be continued (I'm sure).

    Custom Kernels:

Custom kernels may be flashed at YOUR OWN RISK. However, we will not provide extended support regarding such and it is up to YOU, the end user to make your reports in the appropriate thread for X kernel, not in this thread.

    Obtaining root:
Let it be known that we will not assist anyone with bug reports until they have disabled all modules and restored to the default, unpatched kernel that is shipped with the ROM!

Root can be obtained by either one of the following methods.

    1. Download the Magisk.apk on your pc (you can change the file extension to .zip if you wish, though it is not required).
    2. Reboot to recovery
    3. Navigate to Apply update -> Apply from ADB
    4. adb sideload magisk.apk (replace "magisk" with actual filename)
    1. Download the full rom.zip from post #2 of this thread
    2. Download payload-dumper-go that corresponds to the architecture of your pc
    3. Run payload-dumper-go against the rom.zip
    4. Grab boot.img from the extracted folder and transfer it to your device
    5. Patch the boot.img with the magisk application and transfer the patched image to your pc
    6. Reboot to bootloader
    7. fastboot flash boot boot.img (replace "boot" with actual filename)

    Retaining root across OTA updates:
When an OTA update is available, let it download and install. Before rebooting simply open Magisk Manager and click on the first "install" button and select "install to inactive slot". Once it's done, reboot and enjoy.

    Reporting bugs and submitting logs:

In most cases logs should be provided when reporting bugs. This can be done by enabling USB debugging in developer options of the device, connecting it to your PC and running one of the following cmds depending on the type of bug/issue while reproducing it:

    General system log
    adb logcat > logcat.txt

    Kernel log
    adb shell su -c dmesg > dmesg.log

Please provide a detailed description of the bug/issue as well as link/upload the log you had taken.
There are exceptions to this as some issues are unable to be caught in logs. In this case, it is expected that users provide clear and accurate steps to reproduce the issue.

    Getting involved in the development:

We've set everything up in such a way where all you need to do is install AOSP build dependencies, initialize a repo client, init the tiramisu branch of our manifest, sync the code and lunch your device (e.g lunch evolution_instantnoodlep-userdebug); Roomservice will automatically sync all device specific dependencies for you to compile without error. There is no need to manually clone anything due to this and applies to OnePlus 6, 6T, 7, 7 Pro, 7T, 7T Pro, 8, 8 Pro, 8T, 9R, 9 & 9 Pro (enchilada, fajita, guacamoleb, guacamole, hotdogb, hotdog, instantnoodle, instantnoodlep, kebab, lemonades, lemonade & lemonadep).

Device and ROM source changes can be submitted on github to the appropriate repositories by making pull requests via comparing forks. Please follow the google patch format for commits and triple check your changes by compile testing and verifying they're correct. Please retain proper authorship if you are not the author!

Highly recommended for you to guys flash the latest build, it's basically flawless now :)

All other A13 roms have oos cam

I don't use dolby but ooscam is important

Then use something else. You're not obligated to use my ROM, nor am I obligated to add anything I don't want to.
