My bank app Halifax no longer opens. Doesn't even go to flash screen.

Only thing I could think is that the app is now detecting that my device has custom ROM on it.

I'm unrooted and encrypted. Is there anyway to "hide" the fact that I'm on a custom ROM or am I out of luck here.

From what I can tell, you're free to find another ROM so you can stop crying about Night Light that affects you so badly.

I'm using this rom already several generations and never had many major issues. However a few months ago I bought a mess network (X50 TPlink) and the mess function (seamless roaming) isn't working with this rom as it should be. If I take a samsung phone or a samsung tablet from other household members they can walk / roam in the house without losing their wifi, or with a small hickup when switching node. However on my phone with this rom I get in several apps the message "no internet" and once I disable and enable WIFI it connects to the closest node and everything works again.

Is this a known problem? Anybody else experienced this? And how to prove it with logfiles?

I have a Mercusys mesh system (three cubes), no issues so far with my Raphael device running latest EvoX build.

I updated my raphael after some years of not doing anything. And today did the OTA update (04/01/2023) which really worked great. There have been just fewer custom roms having this feature. Before I was on Havoc 3.5.

A few things i have to mention for others to maybe have fewer problems:

• Maybe add to the main post that orange fox is necessary (I came from twrp which caused problems with the encryption).
• Also that the data partition has to be f2fs formatted was something I didn't know (without the system stuck with boot logo).

Things i detected on the rom so far that do not work as intended:

• When setting the camera to start on, double press the power button, it waits for unlocking when on the lock screen
• As lock I have a pattern + fingerprint. Normally, it is possible to just swipe up to enter the pattern, but on first start where it is necessary to enter the pattern, the swipe won't work. I first have to try to unlock with the fingerprint and then it automatically presents me the pattern. (Seems to be fixed in the latest release now.)
• I like to have the extended power menu with the additional reboot options. I don't like to have these additional functions on the lock screen.
• Is it possible to have the torch function on the power menu?
• Is it possible to use the name of the sim instead of the current network on the quick buttons+status bar (on lock screen).
  • Background: My network name is really long and it is really irritating to see it on the mobile data button and the status bar.

Since I am using some magisk modules, especially the vanced youtube I don't know if the following parts are relevant to you:

• I had one complete crash/reboot using youtube. (If I can create a crashlog for you, if you can provide me with information about how to do that, I can do this the next time it happens.)
• Also there was a strange freez/flipping of the pip after trying to resize the youtube pip. It then was always the same still/flickering picture even after trying to use other apps.

Things I have problems with and don't know if i just don't know the settings:

• I always get information about the extreme energy-saving modus and I can't even disable the notifications, it is greyed out. (Didn't got it after the latest update today.)
• In general, why are the roms now delivered with gapps by default now? I always liked to have the option to decide what apps/and parts i really need.

I hope this was not too negative. That wasn't my intention.
I really thank you for the work and I think this rom will be my companion for the next years.

Yes, I really enjoyed discovering all settings. The point I've not found is not to disable the power menu at all on the lockscreen, it's just the extended reboot things like recovery.

And since the screen instantly turns on when taking the phone into the hand (motion detection/distance sensor) it's necessary to first turn of the the screen again and then long pressing, it's a little bit unintuitive. I just thougt it might be not a big deal to add the possiblity to add the torch to the power menu.

Since I had the problm with the pip after occuring also in other apps I thought it might be a general problem (of the service). Maybe you can tell me to which app the pip feature belongs, so I can manually force close it if it occures again?

DFE zip is available in previous pages. I'm not the one to provide it as I work on the ROM and not external files like DFE or recoveries.

You must be a bit blind then if you didn't see the option.

The torch for power menu was REMOVED as it caused other underlying issues. PLEASE UNDERSTAND.

The ROM is NOT responsible for the PiP issues. Google should be the ones to fix it, not us.

It still works but a bit inaccurate due to the brightness changing when pressing FOD.

Hello!
I have a replaced display with a non -original one that does not work at an increased frequency.
And in the last update, something has changed with the imprint unlock, now when I click on the scanner, the image is distorted as when using an increased frequency and the scanner does not work.
Of course, I understand that this is because of the non -original display and these are my problems, but I still decided to tell about this bug.

After the latest update, there are two settings that I can't find anymore (or maybe it was deleted):
1. Recent menu settings;
2. Quick QS tiles settings, I used to have it on 3 colums, so I can have more button on the main tiles.

Can someone confirm this or is it just me who blind

Hi Joey! Just curious, have this bug been fixed? Why switched back to Pixel Launcher from Evo X Launcher? Just trying to figure out if I should do the update now. Evo X launcher seems ok, only there are fewer themes and wallpapers

Try the ROM for yourself and see. If you have miniscule quirks, I'm not even gonna test those.
