Thx... Do you fixed this failure I posted above that I and several other user had? Seemed to be caused by sim card in the device during boot up.
Im still on March built for bluejay + root.
Are there still known issues when updating to this version?
If not, could you post once again the step by step describtion how to update and keep root, so I won't brick my os? Thx so far

WOW, I just read through this entire forum thread, every page, word for word (to get up to speed with my PX6Pro) before I flashed it. I did this so I don't have to come here and re-ask the same damn question (a 100th time), instead I RESEARCH it prior!

I have to say, I am always amazed to see how many greedy, selfish, and unthankful people there are in this world. Us DEVS do this on our OWN time, yet some of you think we OWE it to you. We waste our time to deliver custom ROMs, apps, scripts, ETC., to users with asking for ANYTHING in return. This time could be better spent with our families, or work, or having fun, so NO, we don't owe you a damn thing! This post isn't pointed to any one person, so no one take offense per se, BUT COME, show a little gratitude, or thanks, instead of all the pointless BS! WE need to be kissing the devs butts, to have them continue to bake the ROMs for us. I won't do it anymore, I gave up years ago, after baking ROMs since ICS, but I could NOT HANDLE the attitudes of the users. The demands, demands, demands, with little to no thanks, and getting back NOTHING but grief, so please be careful. If we lose this dev, we won't have this ROM anymore. I am just asking users to wake up and be polite, use a little common courtesy, do some research PRIOR to asking, and do NOT demand, but be thankful!

I've been in your shoes, I know how users can abuse us. I'm new to the pixel 6 pro, but was very active in the 2/3/4XL forums. If my 4XL didn't go flying off my Harley a few weeks ago, then get run over by a truck (flattened like a pancake), I'd still be using it. My 4XL was awesome and rock solid so I was looking for a decent replacement ROM. When I got my 6 pro, I immediately went to LOS and was on it until yesterday. Yesterday I was planning to go with evo ROM so I was doing my due diligence.

That's where my comments originated from, preparing and prepping for the install. To do so, I read through the entire forum and was taken back with some of the users demands. You seem to have a lot more patience than I do, I'd have quite a long time ago. I was trying to warn idiots NOT to abuse you, or we risk losing this ROM development. I REALLY like this ROM, it's exactly what I was looking for and hoping my new 6pro would be, but with LOS, it simply wasn't. Evo however, has exactly what the phone should be, so I appreciate it and your work and wanted to publicly thank you and warn others to be more polite and understand, you do this on your time, with nothing in return! I don't have time to bake myself anymore so I'm using other dev's ROMs, and when there's a good one like this, you have to protect it!

A last phone of me was Samsung S21 Plus. I did to change to Pixel 6 Pro currently.
I realy need a function, which is automatic call recording. This very important for my works.
Can you help me, how to add automatic call recording in Google Dialer by adb or recovey or any way without root.
Beacause, my works do not accept to rooted phone.

yikes, i had an iphone xr, which i was really annoyed at because it didnt allow me to customise it the way i wanted, so i bought a pixel 6 pro on sale last year

I like the 6pro (hardware/aka phone) but I didn't like the stock firmware at all. I usually run LOS or something like evolution if I can't get LOS running properly (AOSP). The problem with LOS is you lose all the pixel goodies (for the most part). Sure add-ons and such can be installed to get those pixel features back with LOS (the best you can), but it's just not the same with my 6pro. My 4XL was fine with LOS because it wasn't as powerful and lacked the 6pro features. Until I found Evo, I was actually unhappy with my 6pro and I'm usually a vanilla AOSP guy so this is a change.

NOW skip ahead to today (and I am only on my 3rd day with evo), and I'm LOVING my 6pro now. This ROM gives it exactly what I was looking for and what was lacking in my 6pro with AOSP/LOS. Evolution is fast, feature rich, with tons of cool theming options (built-in so nothing extra to install), with lots of tweaks. I even found the battery life is better than with LOS (I use stock kernels for LOS/Evo) so it's not kernel related, but ROM related. This is a fantastic ROM and put together REALLY well! I haven't hit a single bug, hiccup, or otherwise any issues at all! I'm thrilled, and I'm enjoying my 6pro FINALLY!! I even took the OTA yesterday with no issues and ROOT worked with MAGISK installed to the second slot (OTA)! It just worked without issues, and that's rare to have everything work without a single bug! It was a hard loss with my 4XL when it was run over, as that was my favorite phone to code/dev on, until Evo with 6pro, now I'm happy and can move on from my 4XL world (coding).

Evolution (this ROM) definitely has my full support and recommendations! If you're reading this, and looking for a stable, fast, incredibly themed ROM, this is it!! Excellent job AnierinB, this is phenomenal!

evo x is a great rom but i personally prefer risingos because it has a little more customisation

Hmm I'll look into it (I always like options), but I'm thrilled with evo and my 6pro! Evo is perfect for me with just the right options I need and Evo has everything working flawless for the things I need to work (meaning showstoppers). I'll look into RisingOS and check it out but I probably won't jump from Evo. I'm really happy with it and how runs my 6pron

my only problem with risingos is that there are crashes every once in a while, but that might be because of the custom kernel im using
