Okay so a damaged speaker that plays perfectly, just soft and wont play when sliding balance to the left in accessibility menu on LOS and has perfect volume and so on a stock rom with no problems at all. Does that really make sense?
As I wrote, I do not have these problems on LineageOS 18 as on LineageOS 20. From what Scaniathe wrote, he also did not have these problems. It's weird that it works for everyone and not for you. As I said, it may be a hardware problem, not a software one.

You clearly do not understand english it seems. So if it is a hardware isue, how then do both speaker work perfectly when i flash back to a stock rom if it is a hardware issue? Just because both of you dont have the issue or more likely,do not correctly understand the issue,it does not mean that it then simply does not exist for anyone else.

Calm down everyone please. I couldn't check if i can reproduce it yet but I do understand what you mean.
Thank you @dtrunk90 as long as you,who is working on building these Roms for our devices, understands the problem and are willing to help by looking in to the issue and hopefully can create a fix for it,i am happy and will wait until you have the time. It is a great rom otherwise and other than my problems with the speaker balance and volumes in accessibiliy menu,i wish we could get a better camera app as part of the rom.

Thanks again and have a good day further

I mean, I had that issue since upgrading to stock Android 10, so I don't know how it can be a hardware issue

It's interesting that since LineageOS 18 no one but you reported a problem and there were a lot of people here on the forum using roms from LineageOS 18 to LineageOS 20. People reported various problems but not about bad sound balance.

Better wait for the official release if you don't want to flash again. That's just for testing. Twrp is not supported.
hi,
thak you for this message
just :
a/ will it be your image, as the official of this andro/lineage release chosen?
b/ does lineage have few devs whom have xz2 so you're running a parallel initiative? or you do everything and then they check?
c/ how long could it takes between your image released on that thread, and the LOS makes it official?
d/ answer D may come later ;)

I'm the official maintainer but LOS 20 is not released yet and I don't know when it will be the case. The official builds are built on LOS servers, signed with their key. This is an unofficial build which was built on my local machine and signed with test keys (that's why you get a warning from trust because of the build signature). That's the only difference.

Hi there! I started with tinkering with XZ2C I had laying around, with a stock 10.0 firmware.
So I got to unlock the bootloader and went through all the install guide, but ... I can't get past the recovery image, I mean, I get stuck in a bootloop, with no recovery at all. @MartinX3 past work got me saved, with TWRP recovery. What am I missing?
    Thanks all!
The easiest way would be to flash the stock firmware on both slots (you can change the slots with fastboot and flash them with xperifirm).
But please use your region firmware for VoLTE.

Then flash the boot image like described here https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/akari/install and then boot the recovery to install the LOS20 zip file.

Also you should boot the stock firmware once until you see your apps to make sure your modem has the newest update.

Thank you but I am not an expert, I just had some free time some time in the past. xD

Sadly the TAMA devices have distinct stock vendor images with region specific mobile operator information.

But sony changed it for newer devices, so you don't need to install a matching region anymore.
Sadly I forgot if you need to flash a matching stock firmware first before switching to LOS 20 / SODP
It depends if the distinct partition containing the operator specific stuff gets overwritten by custom ROM.
If yes it doesn't matter which stock firmware you flashed before jumping to a custom ROM.
It just needs to be the newest.

As example the Xperia 1/5 IV. There you probably just need the "Customized EU UK" firmware.

PS: On my XZ2 here in Germany using O2 VoLTE works.
I am just unsure if VoWIFI works.
From what i can tell is: We/I don't ship firmware. For example the mbn files containing the operator specific stuff are part of that. I only ship the modem configs which simply contain the path to the mbn file to use. So it's important to flash the latest regional stock rom before switching to LOS.

Any chances to have face unlock included in any future build?

    Installed! Working great!

It's not my dialy phone, so if in need for a test... just ask!
    1
explain me how, Id like to test it this weekend =)
From what i read you're still trying to add mbn files from other phones. Since these are binary firmware files specifically for the devices modem they won't work on other modem hardware.

Wow! Thanks a lot, @dtrunk90 ! I dirty-flashed this ROM over the official LOS 19.1 one. Also the full Nikgapps package for A13 and the latest Magisk Delta Canary. Things that never worked for me before are now up and running: AAC Bluetooth coded, and most amazingly, NFC and, thus, contactless payments! I'm certainly keeping this ROM running on both my XZ2 and XZ3 phones. Hope you keep updating it at least after each monthly security patches by Google.
We're going official once lineage 20 is ready. Then weekly builds are automated.
