Hello
I did a factory reset of the phone, after that the phone is recognised as Pixel 2 on Google. And the problem is i missed the new widgets. Is there any way or tip to get those widgets back or am i missing something?

Hey all, an unofficial ArrosOS 13 download has appeared on the download site for the ROM, is there a post or anything regarding that rom?

It's always recommended to do a clean flash when going from a major version to another.
Could a dirty flash work? Sure.
Better be on the safe side.

Also make sure you are on the latest twrp.

Instructions are on the first post.

- Website for downloads (https://arrowos.net/download/ginkgo) is not working
- Device start going slower
- Avast reports that 2 of the core apps from the ArrowOS are infected

What is going on? Are our devices in danger?

Has anyone been able to get kdeconnect to not lose connection when the screen is locked? I've tried changing the battery optimization to unrestricted but it still loses connection after a while.

All download links belong older roms are deleted from server because they changed server. It's not about our device. They explained it in arrowos blog post.

No, we don't. I'm using it from first experiment build and it's more stable than a12.1 It can be used for daily driver but you need to install 05.01.2023 build. You can find it in archives page. Dev is fixing things before official release. You can wait for it.

Based on Android 13 stable [QPR1] [Jan 2022 security patch]

Download from here
(Select version Arrow-13.0 -> Official -> Gapps/Vanilla.)

Device-side changes:
- Kernel updated to latest CLO revision
- Fixed fast charging on Chinese variants
- Fixed 48MP mode in miui camera
- Updated GPU drivers from latest sm8450 release
- Updated telephony stack to android 13
- Updated qcom media/display stack to latest CLO revision
- Switched HWUI renderer back to default (skiagl) to fix green artifacts in videos
- Misc optimizations and fixes.

Known issues:
- None so far.

To upgrade from ArrowOS 12.1, follow the dirty flash steps mentioned in the first post. Clean flash if you encounter any issues.

Has someone else noticed any problem with downloads, the downloaded files are not playing and size is also wrong in Android 13.

Just an update, after the restarting, the downloaded files is working/playing.

    Android 11 is discontinued and it is the first thing that appears when entering the page. You must choose android 13.

    ArrowOS     is an AOSP/CAF based open source project started with the aim of keeping things simple, clean and neat, both for the Android system and users. We understand the pain of unnecessary and sometimes rarely used mods/features being shipped with custom roms nowadays which may end up causing battery drains and/or memory leaks & crashes.     WHAT WORKS?
    • Almost everything (boots, RIL, calls/sms, mobile data, volte/vowifi, wifi, bluetooth, gps, audio, camera, fingerprint, DT2W, wifi display, NFC on willow, etc)

    WHAT DOESN'T WORK?

    Be sure to include logcat: check how to

    * MiuiCamera and XiaomiParts included
    * QuicksilveR kernel v2.5 (latest) included
    * Latest Android 11 firmware required
    * Encryption is enabled by default
    * SELinux is enforcing and SafetyNet passes
    * Ginkgo builds are unified for both ginkgo and willow.

    INSTRUCTIONS

    Clean flash (coming from a different ROM or arrow-11.0/12.0):
    • Download ROM from below
    • Reboot to recovery
    • Wipe data, cache, dalvik cache
    • Flash latest android 11 firmware (Ginkgo | Willow)
    • Flash ROM zip
    • Format data (if encrypted)
    • Reboot and voila!
    • To get root access, reboot to recovery after ROM setup and flash Magisk.
    Updating to a newer build (dirty flash):
    Use the built-in OTA updater, or
    • Reboot to recovery
    • Wipe cache and dalvik cache
    • Flash ROM zip
    • Flash firmware update if required
    • Reboot and voila!

    If anyone is interested, i have builded ArrowOS 11 (Gapps and Vanilla) for those dont like to move to ArrowOS 12.x for whatever reason, with latest source they've merged into arrow-11.0 branch like Feb 2022 security patch and other fixes you can found here , plus i have updated your MIUI vendor blobs to V12.5.2.0.RCOMIXM with a upstreamed QS 2.5 kernel to 4.14.275.

    Upgrading from ArrowOS 11
    - Boot into recovery
    - Wipe system, vendor, cache, dalvik, data
    - Flash latest android 11 firmware (Ginkgo | Willow)
    - Flash ROM zip
    - Format data (if encrypted)
    - To disable auto encryption, flash DFE (optional)
    - To get root access, flash Magisk (optional)
    - Reboot and voila!

    What's working?
    Almost everything (Boots, RIL, calls/sms, mobile data, volte/vowifi, wifi, bluetooth, gps, audio, camera, fingerprint, DT2W, wifi display, NFC on willow, etc)

    Stop begging for Pixel-specific features, this is purely an AOSP ROM.
    Danny Lin (kdrag0n)'s custom monet theming engine is included.
