I just found this ROM recently and flashed version 2.9 (which I understand is based on Android 12L) last night. Really love how buttery smooth it is, so I was starting to set things up the way I like. However, I seemed to be missing some settings that I expected to be there. When I checked the version I was at Android 13, so it seems I automatically OTA updated via the updater. Is there a way to turn the automatic update off? I'd like to re-flash 2.9 and see if it can be my primary ROM, but I don't want to re-flash only to have it update to Android 13 again.

By the way, the main things that weren't working which caused me to check the version were setting up fingerprints (could not do it) and the option to set up face unlock (which the announcement page says works).

Is everything working in the Android 13 version? Like fingerprint, face unlock, etc? I'l just getting 12L set up the way I like it and it's running good, so don't want to upgrade to 13 if everything isn't working.

The face unluck is not working but fingerprint and all is ok .

Hey, I updated my OS in the updater to Awaken 3.0 from 2.9 through the updater. Now I'm stuck in the recovery that looks like the lineage recovery saying that my data is corrupted and I have to do a factory reset. Any workaround for this without losing all files?

I'm attempting to download the recovery file recommended here (because it supports encryption), along with all the other files (OOS, ROM, etc.). However, when I click on the download links I am taken to a "Telegram" page. I don't use Telegram and really don't want to set it up. Is that the only way to download the required files?

What exact recovery do you need? I could post it here for you.

The recovery that's linked in the OP. It's "fajita_twrp_3.6.0_11-0_test2.img" (and I assume the corresponding ZIP file to flash it to the device).

My problem is that I recently rooted my phone and installed the Project Elixr ROM and I want to do a nandroid backup before flashing this ROM. However, it's failing and it seems to be because my phone is encrypted. I was heavy into rooting years ago, but phones weren't encrypted back then. So doing a nandroid backup was simple. I'm hoping that since the referenced TWRP specifically mentions it supports encryption, it will allow me to do the nandroid before flashing this ROM. If not, I'll manually back up data I may need (via other means) and flash.

Thanks for the link. I don't see specifically fajita_twrp_3.6.0_11-0_test2.img. What's there is TWRP-3.6.2_12-2-fajita.img. which I assume still supports encryption.

Eureka! I was able to decrypt my phone in recovery and do a nandroid backup. Thanks for the link @mrjuniork! Now that I have a nandroid backup, I can go ahead and flash this ROM.
