Since last version (2022-12-04), my phone reboot when i try to wake it up with fingerprint. It's not a hard reboot because it did'nt ask me for pin code, but I can see the crDroid boot animation.

I also had several random reboots which I can't reproduce since Dec 4 update.

It happened e.g. during a phone call, while browsing or while in my pocket.

I've had random reboots too whilst in my pocket, as when I go to unlock my phone I can only do it with my pattern on reboot.

Sir these days phone addiction is too prevalent and there are many good phone addiction preventive apps. But all these blocking apps are rendered useless because everyone can easily cheat then by accessing safe mode and removing the permissions or uninstall the app which they block in the safe mode. So could you do something to block the safe mode option usage? If not then just bring a feature to set a unique safe mode password other than lockscreen password , so that users can avoid safe mode abuse for these blocking apps( like Appblock, stay focused, blockerhero( great nrop blocker . That would really be very helpful as it would help user to use device productively and not abusing it. Thank you

Is it possible to set 2nd user from multiple users as the device admin?
Because I have all my files and apps with their data in the 1st space and the 2nd space lags too much and the phone, touch stops to respond sometimes or creates problems and is way slower than the first space. Therefore I want to set the 2nd user as device admin while I'll use the first space , so that I can make someone else set 2nd space(admin) password without me knowing the password so that I can't access the safe mode.

If masgisk and twrp is installed, then for updating, can I just uninstall magisk via twrp and then do the ota system update from settings system updater? Because this seems much simpler and faster than other methods I saw on internet, just not sure if this will cause a problem .

Does the ROM also have the function that the display is activated by lifting it? I can't find these..

and can you make quick settings icons smaller and revert to android 11 view?
Or is there no such option here?

i think there is a somewhat lift to wake in the crdroid settings->user interface-> ambient display -> turn on pocket and wake up

and quick settings can be made smaller and more similar to android 11 by increasing the columns and using the vertical layout in crdroid settings-> quick settings

Hello, one more question, when an update comes, can I just have it installed or do I have to install something else as well?

I've tried it twice now with the daily updates, let the updater run, then there was an error with Playstore, then after a restart both times bootloop... Reinstallation was required..

Installed was the build from 04.12.

Hey guys.

With latest ROM from December 4th, my PocoF1 begun to reboot randomly as well.
I narrowed it down to WiFi reconnect event.
For me it got stable again when I disabled WiFi Calling setting.

Hope it helps some of you also.

for some time now (maybe started in crDroid 8) in Updater I have no information for build date and time and maintainer if language is set to Hungarian. As soon as I switch to English information is there, switching language back and above data is gone again.
@gwolfu can you please have a look?

Just wanted to add about another bug with the latest ROM from Dec. 4th. Sometimes when charger is plugged, the phone does not start charging. So far the only workaround is to restart the phone, then it works.
This is happening while Battery Saver is on, so might try next time to turn it off and see if it's any different.

The 18 Dec update has been smooth so far and the essential stuff seem to work fine.
but the "allow face unlock when swiping on lock screen" doesn't work, the face unlock is automatically on when I turn on the phone even though in the settings it says face unlock when swiping on lock screen.
This didn't happen on the previous build (4 dec) where I need to swipe to open the face unlock

Sir, when WiFi is not connected, the icon changes to this way. When WiFi is connected, the icon is normal.

I've got the same problem for 4 times after updating with OTA.
Did you find the rootcause?
What I found out - for clean installation a wipe of folder "system_ext" is required - I don't have such a folder? Could this be a reason for the problem?
